I have been working at Patheon full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

The company seems somewhat eager to fix the problems at our site. Sending representatives to assess our problems has been bittersweet.

    Cons

It doesn't seem like Patheon as a corporation understands large molecule manufacturing. They are obsessed with metrics that don't go well with mammalian cell culture.

    Advice to Management

Learn more about the process before you buy a company. Once you acquire a site, don't fire all the people who know the site well...some knowledge is worth paying to keep. Place greater value on long term employees that made you want to buy the site in the first place.

  7. Horrible place

    Cons

Upper level leadership is awful. Everything is negative, no positive comments, ever. Anyone with any sense is looking for a job

    Advice to Management

Stop pushing the company directives and listen to the people on site
