    Pros

good people, ok management, close distance from home, employee discounts, friendly staff, paid break for part time, and union is ok.

    Cons

frequent hour cuts, barely minimum wage, max hours for part time is 16-28, you'll never advance with the company.

    Advice to Management

Stop hiring so many people for one job, all you need are two full timers, and that's it. instead of hiring 15 part-timers, save money and hire full time.

    Pros

i got paid and i like to get paid money. life is expensive and cash rules everything around me. Cream get the money. dollar dollar bills y'all

    Cons

it was sucky, life sucks.capitalism. people are lame. customers are rude. i would not work here if cash didn't rule everything around me.

    Advice to Management

be involved. i didn't know what i was doing half of the time. and scheduling is really bad. care more about your employees please

  8. No possibility of full time work.

I worked at Pathmark part-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

    I enjoyed the work environment.

    Cons

Upper management does not allow any full time employees. The only full time employees are the older employees that have been there for years. At first my hours were from 25- 30 per week. Then it went down to 20, and prior to leaving I was only given 16 per week.

  9. Only if you're desperate

I worked at Pathmark part-time (more than a year)

    Pros

The biggest pro here is that you get paid every week rather than every other week. No real positives to add.

    Cons

The cons are that the pay is low anyway. They give you slave hours. They would give me just about 1 or 2 hours below the required hours to be full-time. I guess they did that to save money and not have to give me benefits.

    Advice to Management

Pay more attention to the people that you actually promote to higher positions that overlook the regular workers. A lot of them are very bad workers.

    Pros

Nice store it was in a good
    neighborhood.

    Cons

I was a cashier when I first started the customer service manager and his assistant were terrific. But one retired and the other was promoted. The they transferred another mgr she turned out to be a nightmare. A bigot and rude and unprofessional.
But 2 of rthe assistant mgrs were great. Too many schedule cuts.

    Advice to Management

To the customer service mgr you need to change careers you are not people friendly.
