    Great flexibility

Business Development Associate (Former Employee) Pittsburgh, PA

ProsRizzo was a fantastic place to work. I started as a temp and was quickly promoted to full time after proving myself. They immediately granted me a salary increase and more flexible hours. The staff was wonderful and everyone is extremely friendly.

    ConsHourly wages are a downside.

    My review of this company

Anonymous Employee (Former Employee) Monroeville, PA

ProsI was dissatisfied with this company, nothing was really good about it. But every experience in life I would not take away but I would not reccommend this company to anyone who wants a stable atmosphere, no dissrespect to Mr. Rizzo, he is a hard working, good man.

Consbad pay, bad enviroment, no room for advancement

Engineer (Current Employee) East Pittsburgh, PA

ProsThere used to be great people working here. Now only a few are left.

ConsManagement is incompetent. Family run business where Rizzos get all the perks without doing any work. Zero appreciation for the people who do work. Abusive managers.

    Employees undervalued.

Assistant Project Engineer (Former Employee) Pittsburgh, PA

ProsWhen I started this company was welcoming and the work was fulfilling.

ConsAfter the CEO left his daughter in charge of the entire office it became a disorganized mess. Managers are completely lost and have no clue what they are doing. Most of the managers are friends of family. The people running things are rarely qualified to do so.

Advice to Senior ManagementQuit and hire someone who has experience and education.

Good company for people serious about engineering consulting. Small, though.

Engineering Consulting Intern (Current Employee) Barcelona (Spain)

ProsOpportunities around the world, in select countries. Pays well, considering the size of the company. Opportunities for technical training. Meritocratic environment.

ConsSmall company. Not a lot of training. Must be a sufficient self-starter to thrive. Not the best company if you're not sure that engineering consulting is what you want to do.

Advice to Senior ManagementAllow employees that demonstrate interest to have a say in the strategy and the direction of the company to have an opportunity to do so.

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend
