    Pros

Sabbatical is amazing, you can't beat it, every 5 years. Great benefits. It is very west coast type environment.

    Cons

Large company and the politics that go with that. They need more balance in women in leadership roles.

    Advice to Management

Sometimes the people aspect should be more thoughtful in decision making when making layoffs. Especially when people's livelihood is at stake and its top performers in the organization.

Good place to start your career! However, it would be difficult to stay a life time. Company is constantly in flux.

    Pros

There are lots of opportunities to peruse a career here. They will allow you to learn and new fields and willing to train/coach you.

    Cons

I was in the risk area and the company restructures risk about every 18 months. This add undue stress to the position, wondering if you will have a position, etc.

    Advice to Management

The work life balance here is nonexistent. One will regularly work 60 - 80 hours a week to keep up.

    Pros

benefits and comps was really good--still be there had they not gone though multiple re-orgs

    Cons

leadership is generally remote with no connection to staff in Omaha. The leadership is making adjustments every quarter showing instability and uncertainty.

    Pros

High performers receive excellent pay increases. Company listens to feedback from employees and wants to keep its edge as the leader in payments

    Cons

Progress is hampered by eBay. eBay staff believes they are entitled and has developed too many policies and hurdles to progress. You work hard, some people can't handle it - develop anxiety.

    Advice to Management

I enjoyed working there and feel that management needs to continue to push for progress and that means separation from eBay.

    Pros

    Great benefits
    Casual dress code
    Decent pay
Lots of time wasted in meetings and "fun" events.
    Good 401k match.

    Cons

Hard to get promoted if you aren't a 20-something, single, and female.
Poor management. Lots of favoritism shown.
Since company is currently part of California based eBay, some social agenda issues are presented as positive whether you agree with them or not.
There are specific seminars solely for the promotion of women - hard to believe they get away with discrimination like that.
Longevity with the company is not rewarded, and hardly acknowledged.

    Pros

The benefits are good, and it seems like your direct leadership is somewhat interested in you. There is a pretty strong focus on work-life balance, at least at the lower levels, and there are opportunities for advancement

    Cons

Corporate leadership misled everyone regarding the future of the company for months, and now that they confirmed the spin-off they take an attitude of "Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain", all while implementing new policies and tools which seem to have the express purpose of making your role more expendable and easily automated, so there is no longer any feeling of job security.

    Advice to Management

If one of your Shared Values and Behaviors is going to be "Be Open, Honest and Direct" abide by it and do not lie to your employees about their futures for months and then immediately pretend like it never happened.

    Pros

Company provides good benefits. PP has been growing at double digits for number of years and it will for next few years. So pretty stable job environment.

    Cons

its very hard to grow as there is just too much churn at director level. Every new director likes to shuffle things around and before you know it, you have worked with more managers than projects.
