Look for more young people
Pros
The chance to work for one of the most important oil companies in the world is certainly a big attraction for any young professional. The vast knowledge and professional growth experienced in the first 3-5 years is enormous and they know how to balance work life with personal life.
Cons
Unfortunetaly, there are some political issues within the company that make it really tough for young professionals to advance after 5-6 years of experience. There's also a lack of communication from top management which sometimes makes the employees feel a little left behind, as if they were not part of a team.
Pros

Advice to Senior Management
Try to encourage Technical People increasing the salary to those who has more years of service.
Training is also important. Emploees motivated to do Technical Courses should continue. It adds more value to projects and daily job.

Lack of direction and future vision
More people and less products
Advice to Senior Management
I think PDVSA should be more technical, productive and competitive and less political. Management is heading the company to a completely disaster.
