I have been working at Pearson College
Pros – Dynamic & fast paced company
Lots of opportunity for challenges
People who have quit often end up coming back
Amazingly talented & smart people
Opportunities for training & career advancement now that Pearson owns eCollege
Several employees have been there for 8-10 years & continue to choose to be there
Cons – More levels of management
Cliques-people in the in crowd tend to work on the projects with the highest visibility
It is a huge company now & it's easy to get lost in the shuffle
Salary could be more competitive
Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend

I worked at Pearson College
Pros – They hire smart and committed employees. There is a collegial feeling. Flexibility is is work schedules is welcome. The product offerings are quite impressive.
Cons – There is a barrier between senior management and "worker bees", not sure if it is insecurity; couldn't care less; arrogance; ineptitude; fall out from Pearson buying eCollege. Ideas from below do not get air time. Many employees not aware of education practices
Advice to Senior Management – Have a mechanism/policy that allows all employees to air new ideas, which could be categorized and shared for additional feedback. Don't forget that workers in the trenches have their pulse on actual products and clients,
