    Pros

    Good learning environment
Middle-level management downwards, everything is ok.
After working here, you will be ready to work anywhere else.

    Cons

    Unimaginable work pressure
Pay is ok, but does not justify the work pressure at all.
Quality of products is going from bad to worse, hence no job satisfaction.
There is a no clarity or transparency anymore, and employees are insecure.

Top management in India is dictatorial and completely unaware of how the industry works, because of which many have quit.
Pearson values are just hogwash, and top management has no respect for employees.
No work-life balance for employees on the lower rungs. Top management does not care about it.
Top management has changed too frequently in the last few years and each one has damaged the company further.

HR is a pointless entity with no idea about how to address employee concerns. Many of us have even been lied to during the recruitment process about certain conveniences.
The HR keeps on conducting pointless activities to meet their targets and most of us can't even take part because of work pressure.

    Advice to Management

We are not a company that sells sim cards or razors, we create books, and we are responsible to the children of the nation. People rarely stick to this industry because it does not pay well, but the one who do stick on, are here because of passion. Do not kill that passion.

Your existence doesn't matter to your manager apart from 2 or 3 times during a year. Mostly during project meet and appraisal meet.

    Pros

Best HR practices in the industry
Best workplace ambiance (not work environment) I found so far, things employees may take for granted here took years to build up and develop.
Very good administration and housekeeping staff
    Spick-and-span office space

    Cons

The HR team should know the pulse of every department and intervene to retain loyal, hardworking and talented employees to stop the brain and skill drain. Old timers mostly higher ups are draining the company's wealth.

    Advice to Management

Look inside departments & find a way to retain valuable assets and not just rely on the hierarchical structure. Cut costs but not by reducing the quality of life of the lower level employees but by auditing the excessive expenses and splurging of the higher ups.
