    Pros

Great salary. Non-management team members were helpful, truthful, and eager to help others. There were no barriers between departments, i.e., HR, IT, Facilities. The employees treated each other with respect. Extra-curricular activities, i.e., hot dog day (for charity), other holidays celebrated with free lunches, etc.

    Cons

Management team in place not management quality. Integrity does not exist. Their way is the only way, no questions. Inability to be flexible.

    Advice to Management

Senior Management is not people oriented and need to take some management courses which include integrity, how to deal with people, respect for employees and they need to be a little more humble regarding their positions.

    Pros

Great work life balance as nothing is expected of employees Half day Fridays Lower level employees

    Cons

Zero executive management and strategy skills Top 2 finance executives have left the company this year and yet management still says nothing is wrong with the financials Lack of integrity

    Advice to Management

All C-level executives are incompetent and should fire themselves, so I can continue to feed my family before the run the company into the ground.

    Pros

There are some really good people there.

    Cons

Favoritism is out of control. Bad behavior is rewarded. Bullies are glorified. Compensation is too low. Morale has never improved.

    Advice to Management

The culture of the company needs to be re-examined and serious commitment to changed is necessary. Serious leadership development is needed. Release those that continue to be resistant to change (all levels of management)

    Pros

Used to be a good company

    Cons

This was a great place to work at one time - not any more. They used to be employee oriented and since changing upper manage about a year ago, all that is gone. The have let many long term good employees and they don't care what the employees think about the company anymore or what happens.

    Pros

For compensation new hires seem to be paid fairly but long term employees are under paid due to limits on raises per year. There's are a lot of dumb rules and company policies but this is a pro because no one enforces them so no one follows them including senior management.

    Cons

There have been constant layoffs for 8-10 years even though they keep bringing people in. The company is very small now but spread all over the world. There are massive vacuums of leadership and knowledge due to the layoffs, outsourcing, and people leaving. Most work now is struggling to figure out something that someone used to be able to do in minutes. Knowledge transfer is non existent and only happens if the employee leaving pushes to do it. People are jumping ship and the people left are scrambling to justify jobs and try and survive as long as possible, the rest are looking for work elsewhere and will only add to the above problems when they leave. There is no leadership happening, for example CEO says there are no work from home days except in extreme situations, everyone works from home all the time, except when the CEO visits your office then everyone shows up at work. Also a big issue from the CEO is no eating at your desk, apparently that is a big enough problem for the top executives to worry about.

    Advice to Management

Make a decision to wind the company down or actually fix it. No human can keep taking roles from people who leave the company forever and that's what everyone is doing and has been for years. So many more people are planning to leave and you seem to be completely unaware of this since no steps to get knowledge written down are happening.

    Pros

Prior to latest ownership change executive level leaders had clear vision for the direction of the company.

    Cons

New ownership has gutted the company and laid off a huge amount of staff without warning. Product is poor and needs massive amounts of development to make it competitive.

    Advice to Management

You have a mess on your hands. Good luck trying to raise this sinking ship by getting rid of your most senior and quality people. New ownership group really has no clue what they're doing.

    Cons

No clear direction, multiple people leaving due to lack of morale. No room for growth!

    Pros

Pay on the upper end of the scale

    Cons

Company is shrinking because it is very resistant to change. Penny-wise but pound foolish. Very top-heavy leading to too much micromanagement. Quality of product is poor.

    Advice to Management

Demand to know what's going on within your own company. Ask for numbers.

I have been working at Pegasus Solutions full-time

    Pros

Friendly coworkers and a somewhat satisfying job.

    Cons

Management is non existent. Fairly sure the company will not last. No chance for moving up. Salary is stagnant with raises maybe happening once every few years.

    Advice to Management

Treat your employees as people and not just another expenditure in running business.

I have been working at Pegasus Solutions full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

The compensation is reasonable for new-hires. 40 hour work weeks are generally respected - management wouldn't know what to do with the extra hours.

    Cons

Upper management is rude, self-centered and unapproachable. Squeaky wheel gets the grease. Doing less and not trying are respected here because it allows others to justify their existence. Small chance of compensation reflecting merit or dedication. Consistent layoffs purge the company of it's tribal knowledge, necessary to maintain and support the archaic codebase. Policies are constantly changing but rarely enforced. Special treatment is pretty common.

    Advice to Management

Let the company spiral into bankruptcy or fix management from the top-down. Fire those resisting change - sweep the leg.
