Pendum has been a loyal employer for the seven years I've been employed.

    Pros

Though the schedule may get hectic at times, the days off are regular and a time to relax.

    Cons

The companies that we must work in concert with may at times be a challenge and affect the load on your job.

    Pros

None. Do not work for or do business with this company

    Cons

Everything is bad here except the working employees. All management wants is their bonus

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

I would say replace management. Most are unqualified bullies

    Pros

No pros working for this company unless you enjoy being chattel in a faceless corporation.

    Cons

They don't care about the workers. We are all replaceable by younger and cheaper people. This is no place for those who seek advancement. If you work here, keep your head down and just do your job or else you will be included in the next round of "lay offs". Do yourself a favor and don't even apply for a job with Pendum. Your self-esteem will thank you.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Respect the qualities of your employees. You "laid off" many great people in favor of those with collage degrees.

Poor management - Clueless on how to run a company. Sales team are clueless! CFO and Controller has no finance or accounting experience! No meetings! No communication!

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Clean house! A group of employees are running the company into the ground.

    Pros

Very talented ATM technicians that provide great customer service. Great training center in Chicago.

    Cons

Equity company owns them, they already sold 70% of the company. They are still on the market.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

I know you cannot be honest about selling but hopefully they will go with the buyer. Jim Campbell is good at managing equity turnovers.

    Pros

Nimble company with a flat org chart makes it easy to get your voice heard. You really feel like you contribute to the company mission.

    Cons

Poor communication. When you seach the web for Pendum, you find a list of executives that have been gone for over 2 years.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Keep doing what you have been doing since sellling the cash business.

I worked at Pendum full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

The salary was good, as was the work from home policy for the salespeople.

    Cons

The senior management team was constantly changing...new CEO, SVP, etc every 9 - 12 months. In the 3 years that I worked at Pendum, we had 3 different CEO's...4 if you count the one that came back for a second try.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Set some realistic goals, then see them through. And treat your employees with a bit more respect.

Current Employee - ATM Field Maintenance Technician

I have been working at Pendum full-time (more than 8 years)

    Pros

Field technicians are pretty much on their own within their assigned service area, so that's a plus for those who enjoy managing their own time and resources. I worked as a field technician for several years and probably saw my district manager in person half a dozen times. Pay at Pendum is good, but expect your pay to be less it would be at one of their primary competitors (Diebold/NCR).

    Cons

There seemed to be a lot of nepotism toward friends within the company, at least within the district I worked. Whenever it was time for restructuring or cut-backs, the favorites always had a place, even if it meant creating positions solely for them at the expense of robbing much needed technician slots from the field. No such loyalty is shown for others and when layoffs occur, they seemed to be blind to seniority. Management also expects you to be married to the company - expect to be asked to be on call after hours whenever they need you and in many cases for no compensation.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    None.

I have been working at Pendum

    Pros

Friendly and knowledgeable co-workers, fellow employees go the distance for each other.

    Cons

Supervisors should know all aspects of positions and how to do all machines. They should also know the areas.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Listen when your employees are telling you something is wrong and give suggestions on how to fix. They are the front line!
