    Pros

Family orientated but professional work environment. Safety is a focus. Open door policy for employees. All recognition provided to employee contributors.

    Cons

No match for 401k. Main office in CT, which can make it difficult for site to site communication.

    Advice to Management

Continue with the management styles and programs I have developed during my 27 year tenure.

    Pros

Very stable job with little to no sudden changes or shifting priorities. Standard 9-5, one hour for lunch, 19 days for sick/PTO which is left up to your discretion. Flexible with schedules. Telecommuting potential. Smart and mature coworkers. Yearly evaluations with 3% raise. Bonus near the holidays + profit share bonus in the spring.

    Cons

Little room for advancement; salary on the lower end.

    Pros

Colleagues are pretty friendly. There is always a lot of work to do, so you are never bored. There are often opportunities to assist colleagues on other projects and publications. The only job I've had with Christmas bonuses and profit sharing.

    Cons

The office is quieter than a library. More responsibilities does not mean more money, or a career advancement. When an employee leaves, he or she is usually not replaced, and the work is shuffled around to existing employees. There is no room for advancement. You can go days without speaking to anyone.

    Advice to Management

    Consistent feedback is always appreciated.
