    Pros

Great work environment. Most of my superiors were very willing to listen to what I believed needed work and changed if it was within their control and beliefs.

    Cons

Strict on thing that seemed to be irrelevant but on some things that should have been addressed they were noncommittal.

    Pros

It was wonderful to feel a part of something big and important. The grounds were beautiful.

    Cons

They make you feel like you are part of a ministry - but nothing is voluntary, every part of your life is controlled. Even what you do in your own home. They get away with paying very skimpy salaries by constantly referring to the 'ministry'. Yet they are highly regulating employers.

I worked at Pensacola Christian College full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

Great education. Godly place, wonderful people. Even though there are things I could put under cons, I won't because they make up part of my growing experience there. Just an all out good place to grow in the Lord spiritually, and in knowledge. You make some of the best friends in your life there.

    Cons

Some people could use a little more Godliness but, they definitely aren't the majority.

    Pros

Pensacola Christian College has a nice atmosphere. My coworkers were great to work with. Depending on your position, the jobs can provide great semi-professional experience.

    Cons

Working for Pensacola Christian College is definitely a ministry. If you accept a position there expecting it to be like a normal job, you will most likely be disappointed. The administration tends to milk their employees for all they're worth, expecting employees to pour their entire heart and soul into whatever they are asked to do in exchange for less than desirable compensation.

It had low pay, and little respect, but I did appreciate the job while going to college.

I worked at Pensacola Christian College part-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

I was able to work for three years of my time at college, and with how cheap tuition is at PCC, I was able to graduate debt free. Much depends on one's work area. I applied, and worked for Campus Security. It was without doubt the best work area on campus, and I gained much practical experience that will apply to my future careers.

    Cons

Pay is minimum wage, but with as cheap as tuition is, that isn't all that bad. As a student worker on campus security, one does get treated worse than trash. The faculty is exceptionally arrogant, pompous, and all you can do is act like you want to be polite to them (builds character). The rest of the students don't want to listen to you either, so they treat the department like a joke. With the God's help, and the right attitude, you can make it passed all of the hypocritical faculty, and the cocky students though.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Show the students you mean business by not being hypocritical, and showing favoritism with your workers. Most of the problems will fade away if you do... Don't get so caught up in procedure that it forces things to get done much slower.

    Pros

Great students and co-workers at college.

    Cons

The institution is ran in a tyrannical manner.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Be open to employees imput. They are the ones on the front lines and they many times are more aware of the needs at a lower level. Don't micro-manage.

I worked at Pensacola Christian College

    Pros

Good environment and great people. I think the great thing here was getting to travel and meet people across the country.

    Cons

Little vacation time and the pay was descent but not much room for growth. I thought that also there was favoritism with some employees.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Give an idea to those who work for you where this can go. It seems that many have been in the same position for years.
