I worked at Pentair full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Good employees who want things to be better. Individuals want to be successful but the management doesn't know how to remove their heads from their hind ends to make this happen. I miss the people that worked there not the people who ran those individuals into the ground.

    Cons

Poor management that doesn't recognize the difference between a good and bad employee. Most managers there are just about making the numbers not about improving the company or the individuals who work there.

    Advice to Management

Learn that in order to truly make things better you have to care about the employees. The whole Pentair One was essentially crap. Unethical practices were allowed if it meant the guys at the top got to recognize their shipping numbers. In the end it is a business so you have to make money. However, forcing people to compromise ethics and belittling customers doesn't really accomplish this endeavor.

I have been working at Pentair full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Decent pay and insurance. Never a dull moment for me anyways. Employees are easy to get along with and supervisors as well

    Cons

Where do I begin. Management has ruined all moral for the the employees that try to meet monthly goals. They try to run this plant like its Toyota and when it doesn't work the way it is on paper they push the blame on the workers. Another problem is management does nothing to enforce the lazy to actually do their job so instead they push more work onto the workers that do 120% already. There's too much favoritism. Conveyors are not the answer , it's just money pissed away. The depressing list goes on and on. If you are looking for a good paying job that treats you with dignity and respect, don't work here.

    Advice to Management

Why not listen to the employees to get their ideas instead of listening to college kids you hire that have zero common sence.
