    Pros

Very challenging technical environment. I enjoyed the people there very much.

    Cons

They need to be more focused from a product and technology standpoint.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Again, focus on your strengths.

  2.

Peopleclick was a great company, with the sale of the company in early 2010 it has been slowly going downhill.

    Pros

The people are truly (or were) caring about the customers and delivery of a quality product or service.

    Cons

Management changes have drastically changed and hurt this company. It was once a fun place to work. Unfortunately, it has not handled the transition and challenge of putting two companies together well.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Instead of getting rid of all the tribal knowledge-ask for some help. Find some true leaders from within and give them the ability to make a difference and not be worried about what the upper management is going to say. Stop micro-managing.

    Pros

New ownership may right the ship at Peopleclick Authoria. However with almost 100% turnover in management here it may take awhile to get the firm moving swiftly for a long time.

    Cons

Lack of focused leadership. Tends to be full of cliques. Very little room for advancement. Rarely meets its deadlines for product releases.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Listen to your employees more often. They are over worked, under paid and just waiting for the right opportunity to leave.

    Pros

The clients and employees are the best reason to come to work! The software had a bright future until the merger.

    Cons

The current management is destroying the moral of the company. No advancement opportunities within the company unless you create them yourself!

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Respect your employees and treat them with dignity. Hire solid leadership who has experience running a software company and not an investment firm. Don't try to replica your former company's successes, this is the 21st century.

    Pros

    Good compensation and periodic hikes
    Flexible work timings

    Cons

    No career/professional growth.
No job rotation even though individuals are competent enough.
Not able to meet or giving importance to qualified employees career aspirations even though opportunities are available with in the company.
Individuals recruited with high technical skills but not able to provide quality work.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Collect regular feedback from the individuals working at junior/mid-level, it will definitely help to improve the quality of offshore delivery.
Recruit people with enough people management skills to make sure that the juniors are getting right support and help to perform their job.
Provide job rotations for skilled/qualified individuals to meet their career aspirations and increase the productivity
Multiple chops from onsite in a short span really down the morale of employees working there, it tends to pin-point offshore junior individuals without solid reasons. I feel management needs to identify the gaps like this and help the employees to get their confidence.

    Pros

Strong opportunities to put two businesses together. A lot of technical challenges around integrating company products and technologies together. For those that like a full plate, there is a lot to do. The new CEO seems very engaged, which is a nice change from previous leaders.

    Cons

The direction of the company is not always clear. There is some confusion on what is most important. Decisions about the company are being made behind closed doors. Turnover in the company has been sharp.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

It is not always clear what is most important to the company. It would be helpful if there was a more clear message about what we all should be doing and a commitment to following through. It would be motivating to see some excitement from leadership. More energy and enthusiasm.
