    Pros

    Tuition benefits is a plus

    Cons

There is a major issue with inequality for non White employees. This is a very conservative White Christian university that is set in the "good old boy" mentality.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Gaining experience teaching a wide variety of students is always beneficial.

    Cons

Like most places with a "higher purpose" they often forget that we live in the present and are not all gifted with religiosity.

    Pros

I enjoyed working with Pepperdine very much. For the most part the staff are warm and welcoming, there is a vibrant office culture that I have fostered many friendships and the compensation is satisfactory. The location of the University is wonderful, beautiful place!

    Cons

Avoid the administration at all costs. The front office is rigid, unwelcoming, unhelpful and rude. I would rather visit my local DMV without an appointment than deal with the Administration. Leadership is blind and deaf to employees and students, discriminatory policies against LGBT and the religious rhetoric ,that is sometimes legalist, will make you feel a bit out of place if you are not religious.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Streamline your bureaucracy, end discriminatory policies and listen to the input of students and employees.

    Pros

Great work environment with opportunities to travel abroad to teach in the international programs. What better place than a sunny Malibu campus overlooking the Pacific to find inspiration?

    Cons

Unrealistic expectations from students and their parents who pay a lot of money to study at Pepperdine. Pepperdine staff have to manage parents who have a tendency to get in the way a bit too much.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Lower tuition and try to get us more donations to support the school.
