    Pros

Great product line with a solid base of independent distributors nationwide.

    Cons

Lost employee value & loyalty to drive big volume with minimal means.

    Advice to Management

    Pros

For the most part, you are your own boss. If you purchase a good territory and can handle basic DSD work you can make incredibly good money vs. hours worked and vs. the rest of the industry.

    Cons

The Ivory Tower in Norwalk, Connecticut--the tallest and shiniest in the history of the world-- is filled with Frito-Lay rejects happy to steal all or parts of the contractual commissions heretofore earned by its independent distributors. The company spent many, many millions to construct an "innovation center" a few years ago and could have achieved the same results with an internet-based-cookie-recipe search.

    Advice to Management

Damage your distribution network at your own peril.

    Pros

Ok place to work some good managers advance technology along with good benefits with company car (although you may by-monthly payments) and gas card.

    Cons

Not much advancement opportunity. With great technology to justify dollars spent they micromanage with technology. Work live balance very poor and work ethic questionable.

    Advice to Management

Not help with listening to others ideas and implement team Philosophy. Try not to play favorites and spread the and knowledge.

    Pros

Pay is the biggest draw, and working in the baking industry is the reason for the high pay rate. Maybe the money is good, but ask yourself at what point are you willing to sell your soul.

    Cons

Frequent holiday work, very high out of pocket benefit costs, poor leadership, favoritism, double standards

    Advice to Management

Find another company to flounder in, as you're doing a very poor job of managing this one. Please learn the difference between leading and managing.

    Pros

Good Pay if you don't mind long hours.

    Cons

Filled with Hershey Rejects who do not understand the company. Punish good employees and reward the spies and losers. Hard work is not rewarded, not caring and being lazy is highly desired. Human Resources management doesn't even know the Company Policies, totally clueless. Their idea of an employee appreciation event is hot dogs or a children's romper room party for adults in which an employee was injured. Employees can't plan activities on weekends due to management not having a clue about production.

    Advice to Management

Admit you make mistakes, and actually listen to what is said on the floor; not your spies who tell you what you want to hear.

    Pros

Paid Overtime. Overall pay was pretty good

    Cons

Work-life balance SUCKED!! Lots of 60-70+ hour weeks on nightshift. Poor management culture. Lots of politics & CYA while thwarting attempts to contribute or change culture. Glad I left. Good money, but not worth the psychic cost.

    Pros

You run your own store, good hours for the most part, regional manager is a pleasure to work for

    Cons

Some customers are a real pain sometime, working on all holidays, only closed for Xmas....outlet center sucks,

    Advice to Management

Go back to the way it us d to be, carry more Pepperidge farm product all year long and forgot about the speciality products
