Pros
Very secure place to work, hits operating plan while people work well together.
Cons
Small so movement can be difficult
Pros
There is always plenty of work to do. The company allows employees to perform multiple tasks as they run a very lean staff.
Cons
At Pepperidge Farm, the opportunity to advance is very limited. There is limited movement within the organization and it is very difficult to discern what constitutes promotable. It generally is not success at current position.
Pros

Cons
you work 6 and 7 days a week.
some people dont work well with others.

Advice to Senior Management
its ok. it could be alot better if more people would put more time in to itand cared a little more then what they do.
Pros
Quality Brand is one to be proud to sell
Cons
Change in management towards distributers and employees. The only goal is profit
Advice to Senior Management
Invest in the brand and markets. The company made profit goals by raising prices, reduce ounces and made the products smaller to make profit goals. No that is done now they will focus on employee turnover to reduce labor costs.
Pros
good benefits, pay is good,401k (the company matches 100 % of the first 4 % of our contribution ),good medical insurance
Cons
no work life balance for hourly employees , some times we are expected to work unscheduled over time, don't know in advance when our days off are
Pros
Decent pay for uneducated/college students
Flexible schedule
Cons
Top to bottom only info. flow
Incompetent and disrepectful management
Inefficient
Advice to Senior Management
The only reason this company is still in business is because they have a good product. Given, I don't know the entire company, but from what I've seen and heard about, bad business practice is undermining this company's validity. Try listening to those at the bottom. You'll be surprised to hear what good ideas they have.
Pros
number one reason to work at pepperidge farm is the pay and the benifits.
Cons
one downside is that not every day is set in stone and it changes from one to the next making it so not everyone gets to work the 5 days every week but typically it works out.
