Pros
good employees to work with
Cons
senior management clueless for sure
Advice to Senior Management
Support on-boarding of new employees
Pros
The benefit is very good and you get to be promoted to a managerial post if you are hardworking. The salary for a sales person is based on salary and commission.
Cons
You will have to work late if you are in sales and most time you will work weekends.you will have to be able to lift at least up to lbs of product
Advice to Senior Management
Keep the Good working going and continue the training on selling practice that PEPSI teaches.
Pros
Pay was good, people were generally good, and work/life balance was reasonable
Cons
Despite good intentions, marketing was more of a support function and under-valued
Pros
Incredible work/life balance. Opportunity to work from home, summer hours, flex hours, gym at the office, dry cleaning at the office.
Cons
Terrible pay and terrible benefits.Benefits used to be great before the merge with PepsiCo, now I'm scared to get sick, cause I may not be able to afford the co-pay. Upper management plays favorites, and they are the only ones getting promoted.
Advice to Senior Management
Take the internal surveys to heart. There are a lot of disgruntled employees due to lack of pay and god awful benefits.
Pros
Benefits are good if you can work long hours
Cons
Very poor leadership. Little to no communication. You must very late for four nights of the close week which is once every four weeks. You must wait to be dismissed like schoolchildren, as late as midnight. No breaks. The accounting department chews people up and spits them out. No communication from upper management whatsover. Lack of intelligence or respect from any supervisor.
Pros
If you like to work hard, fast, and without someone hanging over your shoulder, then this is the place for you.
Cons
There is a lot of turnover so the team unity isn't very cohesive. If you don't mind working on your own, then the job is alright.
Advice to Senior Management
Promote more team work amongst the merchandisers.
Pros
Great place to work, job security
Cons
Limited changes for growth oppurtunities
Advice to Senior Management
Growth oppurtunities
Pros
Not overtime working.
Good working envorinment
Cons
No free pepsi.
Not enough office space.
Pros
Great portfolio of beverage products that are leading brands. In addition, PBC has a great market postion as part of PepsiCo. In addition, PBC has hard working front line employees and mid management has potential.
Cons
Although, company has a great portfolio the company is deeply effected by the following:
Incompetent leadership that lacks a broad range of experience and managment skils that are a requirement for any other fortune 500 company-such as computerr skills, P&L, etc.....
Company division lack of strategy in all channels as a result competitors are often more prepared.
Company division has a lack of training on all levels...
Company division lacks professionalism when referring to mid-management
Company division lacks established processes and thus many inefficiencies exist
Company divsion runs very very lean effecting productivity, customer service and market positioning.
Advice to Senior Management
Focus on strategy,
Focus on hiring teams and leadership with experience and professionalism that are both external and internal candidates.
Focus on training it is a step that will ensure PBC is the market leader
Pros
Good Pay (working at very least 50hrs a wk)
Opportunity to advance(provided a campus hire or ass kisser)
Cons
Use personal vehicle to do route
Office politics
alot of pressure ( not all that bad if your strong minded)
always feel as if your job is on the line
Advice to Senior Management
From a current campus hire base promotions off of results and a individuals integerity on how a job is done. get managers that understand that and dont play favorites. hence you wouldnt have 75% of campus hires leave, or better yet great employees find other opportunities.
