Pros
The company offers an opportunity for a fast track career, if you are willing to be flexible with geography. There is a big focus on execution, if you have a winning attitude you will do well.
Cons
The company does not do a great job with leadership development. They do not focus on building a culture of team work.
Advice to Senior Management
Be more transparent with employees - increase communication around expectations, feedback, development and support. Compensation is also an area of opportunity.
Pros
Pepsi has so many great brands, it really is relatively easy to market them to consumers.
Cons
If you are not a member of the in crowd, are normal looking and educated, this is probably not a good place for you.
Advice to Senior Management
BECOME MORE DIVERSE!
Pros
Training, process, brands, systems, and people
Cons
Too many priorities, lots of manual forms to fill out, so you spend much of your day tracking what you should be doing instead of having the time to actually do the needed work.
Advice to Senior Management
Too many accounts are assigned to individual sales folks, making it difficult to positively impact the business and improve overall profitability
Pros
There is always plenty of work to do.
The opportunity to make a decent amount of money.
Cons
No personal or sick days are given.
Very fast paced industry, where you will be expected to work 12-16 hours a day for up to a month straight with out a day off.
You don't receive overtime pay for any hours worked over 40 hrs a week.
The lack of respect given to front line employees by management.
Constantly hearing that if you don't like the job there is 1000's who will take your job.
Being harrassed by store managers / owners.
Advice to Senior Management
Please take into consideration the amount of time and effort that your employees are putting into their jobs everyday and realize that you are not compensating them fairly.
Pros

Advice to Senior Management
Increase pay
Check on employees
Feedback
Communication
Pros
Very competative work enviroment
Good products
Incentives and contests
Cons
Holidays and weekends
Personal car vs company car
Advice to Senior Management
Invest in current employees with talent and experience vs college recruits that stay for a year or 2 and leave because work is not what they thought. Too many times you are managed by college recruits that don't know what they are doing because they have no experience. Too many folks with experience have left the company because of this focus on youth.
Pros
the brand and benefits to go to events. the market information to make good decisions, new product role outs monthly
Cons
Hours - You would spend over 50 hours a week working then have a nextel go off all weekend with stores wanting to know when the merchandiser would be at the store
Advice to Senior Management
Corp management is not engaged with the market. The market tours for the presidents and vp's are not realistic and very time consuming.
Pros
Good pay and some of the jobs have little supervision. It is better than working for some of the competition when you talk to them about the conditions that they work under. You aren't constantly tracked with your cellphone.
Cons
Some jobs have a little too much supervision and you may be constantly told about your job performance. Keep in mind that you are constantly being viewed by cameras when you work anywhere near a warehouse and you may be followed secretly by management when you leave the warehouse.
Advice to Senior Management
You will begin attracting higher quality employees again if you go back to compensating employees at a higher rate. Remember, you get what you pay for.
Pros
Great company for young individuals that are dedicated to advance there career on a fast track and and a high pace environment.
Cons
Working more than average of fifty five hour work weeks, you have to be consistently involved in the office politics to get ahead and charm the managers to like you
Advice to Senior Management
If you have enrolled your campus hires in the leadership training program, allow them to enroll in jobs that will do that, not just have them work as a frontline for a year and not give them any promotions.
