Good place to learn and develop, bad place for growth and advancement

Anonymous Employee (Former Employee) College Point, NY

ProsPrestigious company name and locations, some managers are awesome, prestigious company events like VIP lounge access @ Citifield

ConsLimited growth opportunity, limited employee input, managers even if awesome are at the mercy of executives who are increasingly out of touch with the company's foundations

Low compensation compared to market rate

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend

No fair balance between management and unionized workers.

Loader (Current Employee) New York, NY

ProsThe only good thing about working for Pepsi-NY is the pay and benefits. Some people in this company are great.

ConsManagement thinks they are the best and looks down on their employees. They try to run a warehouse understaffed, and expect us union people to kill ourselves to make up for it. There is no room for advancement. Management babysits you by following you around every second of the work day.

Advice to Senior ManagementManagement should at least listen to their employees from time to time.

Anonymous Employee (Former Employee) Staten Island, NY

ProsYou get good benefits, and it is pretty much an easy job as long as you like to be told your wrong constantly by everyone you work with or under.

ConsYou are treated like awful by countless managers who are only out to make you look bad to make themselves look better.

Advice to Senior ManagementGo to college, get any kinda of education or common sense before you try speaking to any employee. Stop looking only at what you can do to hurt an employee and what you can do to help them, since they are your field operatives and are the overall representation of your company in the work field.
