Pros
interesting tasks and big challenges
Cons
office location and travel can be hard
Advice to Senior Management
improve systems
Pros
Ok pay !
In a little better market to have a stable job. Since it seems that evertone likes to drink soda !
Cons
Local management has no clue how to run a business !!!!!
No respect from management.
Way to many products,who really needs a 1 ltr. and a 2 ltr.,and now a 1 1/2 ltr. Oh because Coke doesn't have one !
Advice to Senior Management
Respect your employee's !
Our contract says you have the power to give an excused day off ! But no one has had one in over 5 years !
Pros
Great brands, challenging and thought-provoking work, nice workplace location.
Cons
Long hours - days, nights and weekends; arrogance of senior managment, lack of meritocracy and promotion of insiders.
Advice to Senior Management
You should check your egos at your fancy cars before you take that long walk into the building . . . Pepsi is #3 now, so obviuosly you're not always right.
Pros
Feed your family, steady work.
Cons
There is a disconnect between mangement and workers. Although mgmt talks like they care ,it feels patronizing. Not real.
Advice to Senior Management
"Strong Back" workers deserve better compensation in comparison to executive pay. Money is not the root of evil. GREED is.
Pros
Challenging, diverse, flexiable, state of the art
Cons
provide feedback, provide stress relief
Advice to Senior Management
Provide feedback
Pros
*Pay ok
*Great co-workers
*Opportunity to learn advanced skills
*Great campus
*Work as little as possible, and smile a lot for a promotion
Cons
*Mktg HR is not confidential, but a gossip haven
*Poor morale; once through the door, the company is not what it claims to be
*Lack of understanding of your job responsibilities by direct management
*It's already apparent that if you work hard you won't advance
*Work life balance is lip service
*HORRIBLE benefits
*Opinion in finance is not accepted- at all
Advice to Senior Management
Repair the disconnect between what the company stands for and supports, and what is really happening in the everyday on campus. Finance is broken. Marketing is overworked. HR is seriously broken, and it affects the workplace. Be honest about benefits, or lack thereof. Remember, public perception begins with those who work for you!
Pros
- Ok place to work
- People are, for the most part, respectful towards each other
- Compensation is good
- Benefits are good
- Opportunities for promotions, depending on manager and location, can be good
- Middle management, although not perfect, are ok
Cons
- Work life balance
- A lot of concentration on diversity and inclusion, which is good...but sometimes seems to preclude the objective of meeting business goals
- Outsourcing to India is off and running pretty heavily in this company...no end in sight.
- Re-orgs appear to be a yearly occurrence, with people being displaced in each event.
Advice to Senior Management
It's a huge corporation with so many moving parts. Keep and open mind and listen to the employees if morale starts to drop,,,which it appears is happening.
Pros
Great colleagues and some very fun brands to work on. Can get a lot done if senior management attention is elsewhere. Quality market research is appreciated.
Cons
Must be on your game for politics and standing out (without hurting others). Not a great deal of training/development. Expect zero on-boarding to avoid disappointment. Also expect to pay a lot for medical - both upfront and in deductibles.
Advice to Senior Management
Don't assume you know your employees better than their supervisors unless you actually worked with them. Now that you own the bottlers again - avoid letting the "system" dictate what you offer consumers.
Pros
Best in class processes, tools, people
Category leader who has great access to customers
Cons
Brutal work environment. They expect 100% of your time. Tough if you have a family or seek work/life balance. They churn people. Many others are waiting to take your position. Perform to the highest every day or your are out.
Advice to Senior Management
They don't listen to advice from employees.
Pros
Good pay, great benefits, a good work environment. The CSR position, or Route Sales is a good opportunity for young guys and gals (must be strong) you can make good money and the benefits package is awesome. Medical, dental, vision, 401K and stock options, not bad for a job you can get with just a high school diploma.
Cons
You work A LOT of hours, not much balance between life and work., many of the guys I know were divorced and didn't have enough time for family.
Advice to Senior Management
Management does an ok job, but employee feedback should be recognized more and acted upon. The actual people doing the job have good ideas on how to improve it.
