Overall great Employees
Cons
Upper Management indecisive.
Upper Management afraid to make decisions less they be held accountable
Decision by comittee grinds things to a halt.
Overthinking the negative.
Advice to Senior Management
Once you reach a Leadership role, it's time to take charge not avoid it.
Go back to Merit based compensation vs. merely talking about.
Promoting only "yes men/women" can't help you hurdle obstacles long term.
Trust your mid-level management team. They "Are on the Front line"
Pros
Work/Life balance is important
Can work from home Fridays
Summer/Winter hours (half days on Friday)
Employee Resource Groups allow you an volunteering outlet and venue to network while recieving credit on your PDR
Cons
Company says it develops it's employees - only saw this with the selected few
It's impossible to advance if you are hired in at a lower level. Very top heavy organization.
Salary is low compared to other companies.
Pros
Global Reach
Potential for Non USA geographical relocation
Better bonus structure due to better value and volume growth
Very different challenges compared to US Market
Excellent work life balance when you are in USA
Cons
Not sure what the new org. structure will look like as it is constantly changing.
Too much traveling and not enough family time
Advice to Senior Management
Reduce the deck culture and focus on the tangible insights that can help create a brand faster so we can lauch it faster. Too much time is spent on data pulling and story telling rather than content quality. Engage R&D early on in the strategy and innovation meeting so we are all connected on insights and execution.
Pros
Good Work life balance
Good Environment
Good Compensation
Cons
Nothing as of now will tell in future
Advice to Senior Management
Can do gr8
Pros

Cons
You definitely have to be 'in' and go through alot of the channels to move up
Advice to Senior Management
Keep up the great work!
Pros
flexible summer hours programme (half day Fridays)
flexible winter hours programme (half day Fridays)
Cons
internal "favourites" were apparent
limited exposure to senior leadership
Advice to Senior Management
no
Pros
Great work-life balance and it is a great brand name to have in your resume particularly if you intend to study an MBA or pursue an international career.
Cons
Increase in pay for promotions are practically nothing, particularly in the entry level associates. Moving from level 6 to 7 or 8 will get you an increase of about 2 to 3 %, ridiculous.
Advice to Senior Management
Trim the huge organization to be left with better people that do a better job and have a better pay.
Pros
Flexability in working hours, and taking days off whenever needed specially in emergencies.
Cons
very light work load. one task is distributed among many employees so you don't know at the end who owns the process. exaggerating in titles ( titles are nor matching job contents).
Advice to Senior Management
Reconsider job evaluations and tasks distribution. you have a fair pay, but not professional environment at ALL
Pros
The culture at the UK HQ in Theale is friendly, fast-paced and fun. There is a big focus on performance, and a robust (if slightly complex) way of measuring it. Ad-hoc recognition and reward are regular occurances. There are some fantastic benefits, including what must be one of the last final salary pension schemes in the UK. They've had a big focus on flexible working in recent years which has paid off with quite dramatic results.
Cons
It's not a culture that will suit everyone. There is an extremely high quality bar, and the pace can be exhausting. The biggest and most pervasive problem is the IT infrastructure which is in major need of a revamp. It does the job, but it is disjointed and there is still a lot of things you would expect to be automated that are still done manually.
Advice to Senior Management
Sort out the IT systems - it'll save money and make everyone's lives easier in the long run!
