    Pros

    Cons

Work environment climate. Bosses may not like you if you don't work long overtime hours.

Former Employee - Route Sales Representative in Bloomington, MN

I worked at PepsiCo full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

Strong Profit growth, in past present and as well as future outlook. Everyone knows and loves their products (Doritos, Cheetos, Tostitos, Fritos, Lays, etc…). There will always be steady work opportunities.

    Cons

Long hours running a route with very few opportunities for internal advancement and training. Would have liked to see more advancement from within the company and more appreciation of employee feedback. Hardest realization that potential earnings are capped through route revisions and commission structure changes (mostly within the last 3 years).

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Foster talent from within, the company develops strong leaders through the type of work offered, but there are oft "missed opportunities" in fostering talent from within.

    I worked at PepsiCo full-time

    Pros

    Good salary and great location.

    Cons

Terrible work culture, all about ME, no team work, everyone is stepping on others to get ahead. There is no collaboration in the true sense of the word. A ton of deck writing and not much actual work gets done here. The gng team is the worst if all. Many have left that group - so beware of those who want to join. It hurts your career.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Get your act together. Foster a better work environment.
