    Fast pace, challenging opportunities

Anonymous Employee (Current Employee) Winston-Salem, NC

ProsFor exempt roles, flexibility of schedule/remote work. Great benefits package. Multiple lines of business create career growth opportunities.

ConsChallenging to successfully manage priorities and deliverables timely while creating work-life balance issues for self and direct reports due to resource challenges and over-commitment to what can be accomplished without re-prioritizing work load. Recognition opportunities among Leadership.

Advice to Senior ManagementImprove recognition practices and ensure that value being delivered against company objectives is acknowledged. Focus on identifying true growth drivers and committing the resources against those items versus agreeing to do everything.

    could be better

Customer Equipment Service (Current Employee) Winston-Salem, NC

ProsGreat for building work experience. Management has no problems commending employees for their hard work and valiant

Consmanagement is not cohesive. As a whole, the department is not organized. Some of the policies within the department are not consistent with those from the handbook. A lot of micromanagement. Employees are treated as children rather than adults who can manage their own workstations. Not a great work/life balance

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend – I'm not optimistic about the outlook for this company

Favortism and clueless management not enough sick days

PEPSI DIRECT SALES Representative (Current Employee) Winston-Salem, NC

ProsFull time job that's about it.

ConsFavortism, pay is below average and is not keeping up with inflation, insurance benefits are getting worse and costing more and more each year. management just passes the buck up to senior management in Purchase, NY. Only feedback they seem to accept is minor things that relate to sales, don't seem to really care about employee morale, which is quite low.

Advice to Senior ManagementStart paying a decent salary and provide insurance that your employees can actually afford.

    Corp America Goes Factory

Finance Analyst (Current Employee) Winston-Salem, NC

ProsHuge company, full benefits, congenial atmosphere, steady work

ConsWS facility, being across the street from the RJ Reynolds Tobacco factory, has that factory mentality. Many long-time employees started in the local factories, and there families worked in factories all their careers, so it's in the culture.

Advice to Senior ManagementUnderstand that your long-time supervisors & managers are hindering significant process improvement in the name of maintaining their status quo. Duh!

    Finance Manager

Finance Manager (Current Employee) Winston-Salem, NC

ProsPepsi-NASS is ever evolving with new work, new process, new people. It is a company that appreciates diversity and culture. The AR group works extremely hard to drive the impressive results they deliver year over year. Lots of opportunity for growth if you are willing to invest the time in your work and your development.

ConsMulti-levels of leadership some bonus eligible some not. While goals are essential for the organization to continue growing, there should be some incentive besides your pay check for middle management.

Advice to Senior ManagementAsk HR-NY to consider a banding structure that would allow overtime pay for the middle leadership if bonuses are not available.
