    Pros

Perception Programs provides the most time off between holidays, personal days, sick days and vacation days I've ever seen. They go out of their way to accommodate staff with time off. The clinical and administrative staff go out of their way to help people. The atmosphere is, in general, laid back.

    Cons

Perception Programs does not provide raises, cost of living increases or merit salary increases. There are no opportunities to advance within the company. Facilities are poorly maintained. Staff is not treated equally.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

It would be helpful to offer some kind of raise to all staff, even if it's pennies----Raises motivate people. Use funds to clean and repair facilities instead of on "special projects" for senior management. Treat people equally.

    Pros

The only real pros that I can think of to working there would be the benefits. There is generous sick time and vacation time for full time employees. They also pay for most of your health insurance.

    Cons

The management is horrible and heavy handed. Your decisions will be undermined. Everything is disorganized. No one knows what they are doing. They do not train you, you are expected to do your job from the day you start. There are frequent miscommunications--staff members are not given all of the information they need, or are told conflicting information. You are not supported at all. The case loads are way too high and not feasible for a person to handle. There is a culture of fear.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

The high turnover reflects on your inability to manage people. Start fresh.

    Negative Outlook
