Current Employee – been working at Peregrine Pharmaceuticals
Pros – Easy going culture where the focus on on the patient. Professional but not stuffy. Opportunities to network across the company at breakfasts and friday afternoon socials. Benefits and pay are at or above the industry standard.
Cons – Currently working toward a commerical product but nearing the end of Phase II trials.
Advice to Senior Management – Continue to upgrade employee programs especially training and development.

Former Employee – worked at Peregrine Pharmaceuticals full-time
Pros – Very knowledgable upper management with extensive experience from other big- and medium- pharma companies (very inspiring and motivational for the future potential). Relaxed office atmosphere. Things can get done quickly if people put their minds to it! Employee benefits ok.
Cons – One person fills many gaps, so sometimes more direction and leadership (including structure) is needed. No tuition reimbursement program. Salaries on the lower end of industry.
Advice to Senior Management – Focus on transparency of goals/objectives and developing processes. Invest more in lower level employees in order to create a better middle-management.
No, I would not recommend this company to a friend – I'm optimistic about the outlook for this company

Current Employee – been working at Peregrine Pharmaceuticals
Pros – Company culture is rich with intelligent, team work oriented people. Everyone is focused on doing their part in helping in the fight against cancer which has inflicted so many of our family and friends. There are fun socials and breakfast that allow us to meet and greet and get to know people we haven't met yet.
Cons – No tuition reimbursement. Company is growing so office space is limited. More mentorship would be welcomed.
Advice to Senior Management – Continue to be visible and share the company's vision, mission and goals with all employees...

Former Employee – worked at Peregrine Pharmaceuticals
Pros – Stable job provider in Orange County. Can move up if you know who to please and don't mind CEO making decisions, often conflicting that change project and company direction quickly. Make sure you are nice to those close to CEO and don't disagree with him or them in public. One may disagree with CEO in private but don't expect him to listen to any advice for the company. If you want a job and don't want accountability (good or bad) based on your actions this is the place for you. Many of those favorites are out of the office most of the time so you can work with little oversight.
Cons – Not for anyone who wants to truly make a difference and grow in their career in a substantial way. Must be okay wih passive aggressive leadership and often no direction or direction set by uninvolved consultants.
