    Good technology stack
    Supporting Management

    Cons

Usually a messy workplace. Don't expect process driven and be able to find information easily.
Bad decisions by senior management without understanding the complete picture at the front line.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Stop making decision in a closed room. Ask the front liners who work day in day out to understand where the business blockheads are.

Good cameraderie between colleagues and friendly, positive working atmosphere.

Senior management are genuien, friendly and approachable

    Cons

lacking modern processes and backend functions hamper staff's best efforts to get job done. habit of over-promising and under-delivering to clients, leading to frustrations at the coal face. Company has changed significantly in last 12 months having grown and is now losing some of its identity and many of its good staff.
"Jobs for the boys" approach to recruitment.

    Pros

Nice people, atmosphere is ok and the work can be interesting. Relaxed environment and casual clothing a bonus. Access to live sports is good.

    Cons

Projects lack scope and can be poorly managed and deadlines agreed with clients before development begins.

Lack of personal training and development.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Increase personal benefits and training to try and retain staff as company knowledge is hard to come by.

It's a good reference, and a very convenient place to work, but do not expect high standards.

I have been working at Perform Group full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

There's no pressure on the employees, the atmosphere is quite friendly, and sometimes we can travel abroad. It's a relatively large company, so it looks good on your CV, especially in the UK. We work with real production systems, scaling to hundreds of thousands of users.

    Cons

Professional standards are quite low. People aren't really motivated to learn new skills and to bring the best out of themselves as it's not rewarded nor expected of them. There are many fundamental flaws around and people just live with them instead of making a difference.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Be more professional and severe. Encourage and support professional self-development, reward the will to act, and discipline slackers.

Former Employee - Anonymous Employee in Feltham, South West England, England (UK)

I worked at Perform Group full-time

    Pros

People are nice, company is growing well, free breakfast and drinks every day, pastry on Fridays, casual clothing, TV for major sporting events whilst working, intelligent managers.
If you love sports, its a good place for it.

    Cons

Feltham is in the middle of nowhere, pay can be less than competitive, overtime is unpaid and can be more frequent than usual, depending on workloads/department. If you are fast at your work, they tend to pile more on you and expect it to be done on top of your normal duties.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Appreciate the efforts of some hard working people more and a bit less politics. Work and life may need balancing more.

    Doesn't Recommend
    Positive Outlook
