    ProsGood People in Technology
    Good challenges
    Good technology stack
    Supporting Management

ConsUsually a messy workplace. Don't expect process driven and be able to find information easily.
Bad decisions by senior management without understanding the complete picture at the front line.

Advice to Senior ManagementStop making decision in a closed room. Ask the front liners who work day in day out to understand where the business blockheads are.

Good people not supported by internal processes

    Anonymous Employee (Current Employee)

Prosgenerally look after staff - ie breakfast / canned drinks / tea & coffee is supplied for free, relaxed dress code and environmnet (sports showing on screens throughout the day.

Good cameraderie between colleagues and friendly, positive working atmosphere.

Senior management are genuien, friendly and approachable

Conslacking modern processes and backend functions hamper staff's best efforts to get job done. habit of over-promising and under-delivering to clients, leading to frustrations at the coal face. Company has changed significantly in last 12 months having grown and is now losing some of its identity and many of its good staff.
"Jobs for the boys" approach to recruitment.

    Company Review

    Senior Developer (Current Employee)

ProsNice people, atmosphere is ok and the work can be interesting. Relaxed environment and casual clothing a bonus. Access to live sports is good.

ConsProjects lack scope and can be poorly managed and deadlines agreed with clients before development begins.

Lack of personal training and development.

Advice to Senior ManagementIncrease personal benefits and training to try and retain staff as company knowledge is hard to come by.

It's a good reference, and a very convenient place to work, but do not expect high standards.

    (Current Employee)

ProsThere's no pressure on the employees, the atmosphere is quite friendly, and sometimes we can travel abroad. It's a relatively large company, so it looks good on your CV, especially in the UK. We work with real production systems, scaling to hundreds of thousands of users.

ConsProfessional standards are quite low. People aren't really motivated to learn new skills and to bring the best out of themselves as it's not rewarded nor expected of them. There are many fundamental flaws around and people just live with them instead of making a difference.

Advice to Senior ManagementBe more professional and severe. Encourage and support professional self-development, reward the will to act, and discipline slackers.

    Alright company

    Anonymous Employee (Former Employee)
Feltham, South West England, England (UK)

ProsPeople are nice, company is growing well, free breakfast and drinks every day, pastry on Fridays, casual clothing, TV for major sporting events whilst working, intelligent managers.
If you love sports, its a good place for it.

ConsFeltham is in the middle of nowhere, pay can be less than competitive, overtime is unpaid and can be more frequent than usual, depending on workloads/department. If you are fast at your work, they tend to pile more on you and expect it to be done on top of your normal duties.

Advice to Senior ManagementAppreciate the efforts of some hard working people more and a bit less politics. Work and life may need balancing more.

A good learning experience but hindered by mismanagement

    Java Support (Former Employee)
    Feltham, England (UK)

ProsGood learning environment, people are helpful and it is easy to talk with people from different technologies, not a real environment where they will explain stuff in detail (except for a few) but still gave you enough information to get you on your way to learn about it.

ConsI was part of a badly managed team with too much internal politics going about and it is a general observation for the place as well, so if you are liked/ preferred by the guys that have been there for dog years, then your career progresses fast, favoritism is completely accepted and the norm which isn't a good thing.

Advice to Senior ManagementTalk to the people directly, don't let managers who twist words around for their own benefit guide you and try not to show favoritism to members that directly work with you. Try being more open.

Not bad but some real jobsworths

    Anonymous Employee (Former Employee)

Prossome friendly staff, some good systems to play with. Plenty of variety of media and computing platforms

Consvery clique oriented, limited scope for progression within a team, not always a firendly environment as people often shift blame and take other people's credit

Advice to Senior ManagementWould suggest some management training
