    Pros

    Clock in your hours and leave. Family feeling. Really friendly people.

    Cons

    CEO does not seem to understand the business. Not enough work to stay busy or challenged. Great performance is not rewarded. Seniority is valued over ability.

    Advice to Management

    When something or someone isn't working out, be faster to change.

    I worked at Performance Designed Products full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    I was very fortunate to be brought in as design student directly from school and to work under PDP Creative Director. This individual was a true mentor and source of knowledge about design and creative approach. In those early days I was given freedom to learn, experiment and contribute with the team of artists I worked with and to the company we were all a part.

    Cons

    Reorganization divided artist into divisions and new office space separated us on to different floor levels. What was once a group effort became disconnected by the move.

    Advice to Management

    Aside from the encouragement to learn new tools, make a point to require an understanding of the basic interfaces to ignite the curiosity.
