    Cons

The only thing i have to complain about is this Perkins doesn't offer medical, dental, and vision. There is also no retirement benefits.

    Pros

good managers, good pay, coworkers, friendly and knowledgeable staff, top-quality training, good advancement opportunities, time goes quickly, 50% discount on meals.

    Cons

Busy on the weekends, hard to get hours at first, lots of early mornings or graveyard shifts, cut if slow.

    Advice to Management

Give more frequent reviews for pay raises; I've worked here over a half year and still at my entry level pay.

Open 24/7, sometimes have to work with difficult customers.

    Advice to Management

    Pros

Fast-Paced- good tables, bad tables, no matter how bad a customer was, they left within 40 mins Formulaic- Once you knew the routine, you were a pro at the job. Pancakes to be had!

    Cons

Cheap food- two people could eat for $15. Low tips. If they volume wasn't there, you're not making much $$$

    Advice to Management

Less Sidework for servers! I would get cut, then spend another hour on sidework...have the hostesses and bussers do a little sidework too! Spread the burden!
