    Pros

We were like a family, the company operated based on their great culture & values. I was very lucky I had wonderful managers and mentors and because of that I always gave 120% to my job. I received credit and recognition for all of my hard work.

    Cons

When the company went public we lost some of the family atmosphere. Towards the end before the company was sold everything was about the stockholders, not the employees that built the company.

    Advice to Management

I wish you had not sold the company.

    Pros

New technology, travel, neat projects, multiple verticals, flexible time, great benefits.

    Cons

Overworked, male dominated culture (good-ole-boy), inappropriate travel incidents, removed domestic partner benefits.

    Advice to Management

Integrity within management is crucial to success.

    Pros

Strong team, smart folks, can-do attitude, respected as a team member if you have the chops.

    Cons

Expect to be worked to death. Pulled many an over-nighter. There's a saying that "There's 7 days in a week and 24 hours in a day, then there's night's and weekends." It's an old EDS saying that applies here as well.

    Advice to Management

Not any different than any other company. You're just an accounting entry that somebody is always trying to figure out how to reduce or eliminate. That's just business.

    Pros

A lot of autonomy, not a lot of politics

    Cons

    None really worth mentioning here

    Advice to Management

Get Mr. Perot to buy it back from Dell. :)

    Pros

There are great growth opportunities, great pay, and good people to work with. I started as a EA and ended as a project coordinator.

    Cons

With the great pay came long hours, and the work would sometimes be stressful. There was a lot of travel involved as well.

    Advice to Management

The leadership were very knowledgeable people who unlike other companies shared their visions to others and subordinates. They would help others achieve their goal in their career.

    Pros

The campus is nice and conveniently located My co-workers were friendly and competent but they were usually overworked and exhausted

    Cons

Encouraged to be dishonest with customer Far too much work, too many hours, too much travel for one person to do Not enough support from management and other departments to do a job we were contractually obligated to complete

    Advice to Management

The financial success of the company was based on a name and was probably a lot of dumb luck. I hope the Dell purchase improves conditions for some really good people.

    Pros

A compancy that understands that its people are centric to its success!! Wow, in this day and age, that is awesome.

    Cons

Like most companies (I think), once you're in the dorr, the compensation/rewards become static and changes very little. However, the culture, environment and people compensate.

    Pros

Work life balance is great. We have a world class gym on site. The opportunities for various projects which helps one gain experience is great.

    Cons

The salary raises is not that constant and great. Perot pays lower than most of its competitors. Their benefits are great though.

    Advice to Management

Benchmark yourself with other competitors so you can retain great talent. There is so much competiotion out there for outstanding individuals.
