    Pros

Commission structure gives you the ability to make what you please. If you work hard, you will reap the benefits of this organization

    Cons

Leadership is very hands on. Very long days in the office.

I worked at Peyton Resources Group full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Peyton pays better than some of the other agencies

    Cons

Communication is not good and like other agencies is mostly concerned with "filling" openings instead of trying to find a good fit for the employee.

    Advice to Management

Better communication with employees and make an effort to find better "fit" opportunities for employees.

    No opinion of CEO

    Pros

Pay and opportunity as well as culture and client relationship.

    Cons

    Going from contractor to full-time

    Advice to Management

Consider the experience that someone brings to the table and not just what you want to fit them into.

I have been working at Peyton Resources Group full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Strategic vision, ambition for growth, empowerment to own a project or service. For the right people(motivated, ability to adapt, intuitive), you will receive the opportunity you deserve. PRG will help you develop your strengths and become a part of something bigger than just PRG.

    Cons

PRG will reward those that are driven to succeed. If you need a constant hand to hold or colleague to vent with, PRG may not be the place for you. If you are too comfortable in your lifestyle/way of doing things, PRG will challenge you to get uncomfortable so that you can grow.

    Advice to Management

Continue to evaulate your staff and processes in an effort to constantly evolve and adapt to the customer environment. You are on the right track and now have the right pieces in place.

I worked at Peyton Resources Group full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

-Most coworkers were great to work with! -Fun environment at times (one Friday a month?) -Good commission structure for sales team (NOT recruiters) -Might be an OK place to gain industry experience directly out of college before moving on to greener pastures

    Cons

-No real leadership or career path direction -High Turnover!!! -Very difficult management style/preferential treatment towards some employees -Salary for all employees extremely low for industry -Small company promises opportunity and growth, but that is just something that people choose to believe, not reality -No training/ no consistent structure/ and people are not held accountable

    Advice to Management

-Need to find a way to motivate employees/keep them from leaving so there are more tenured staff to assist new staff

I have been working at Peyton Resources Group full-time

    Pros

-Gain Industry Knowledge -Decent location -Office has nice view -Snacks provided occasionally

    Cons

-Poor business development/Account management team -No work-life balance -Long work hours (8am-6pm) -- expect you to work remotely evenings and weekends -Management sets unrealistic expectations for recruiting team -Compensation below market rate -Poor vacation policy -Over 100% turn-over rate within one business year

    Advice to Management

For a company in the recruiting industry, employee retention should a stronger focus. Show employees that efforts are appreciated and they are being valued.

    Pros

You have your own office if you are in sales.

    Cons

Owner is a micromanager, says he cares about his employees but only cares about his pocketbook. Small company and he can get away with saying what ever he pleases to his employees. If you are considering a career in staffing STAY away from this place trust me! He has fired so many people and will continue to do so. This company is headed down the drain real quick.

I have been working at Peyton Resources Group full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Senior management is always available and has an open door policy. Great team-centered culture - the people always come first. Good industry training and support. Rated as the #1 Best Place to Work in DFW by the Dallas Business Journal. Competitive compensation package. Upper management is willing to invest in any tool/software to make the company better. There's a ping pong table in the office!

    Cons

Small, privately owned company so there are some struggles when transitioning from a larger firm or company. No clear path to upward mobility.

    Pros

Strong vision and ample resources to help achieve it. Management is always available to assist and help at a moments notice, despite their own hectic schedules. Recruiting team finds strong candidates quickly and is always looking out for the client's best interest.

    Cons

Difficult industry that demands a lot of time and energy.

    Advice to Management

Continue pushing to be the best. Continue to build a strong cohesive team and keep communication lines open and direct.

I worked at Peyton Resources Group full-time

    Pros

Nice facilities with up-to-date technologies (i.e phones, computers, etc.) Co-workers are generally a pleasure to be around. They continually seem to be hiring internal staff

    Cons

Extremely high turnover (in corporate office) Lack of employee tenure (in corporate office) Base salary and commission structure is less competitive given the current market Inconsistent operational structure along with continual (sometimes contradictory) policy changes

    Advice to Management

With over 12 years in Dallas Market and currently only 2 employees with over 1 year tenure it seems strange that PRG would have been ranked by the DBJ among the top companies to work for in the DFW area. Less micromanagement and more trust and appreciation for your employees.
