Well compensated; working envirnonment that allows employee ownership of their career.

Account Manager (Current Employee) Toronto, ON (Canada)

ProsWe are well paid and have the ability to have a good work life balance once we know the territory well.

ConsHigh level of documentation and administrative expectations that are largely "make-work" and tend to take employees away from more productive, results oriented, work.
There is a continuous pressure to work many extra hours. Admin and travel is largely expected to occur during personal time which results in a less- than transparent atmosphere and lack of clear communication between management and sales.
The same directors have surprisingly remained for many years, which has resulted in stale, old and closed ideas. Employees that like to challenge or step outside of the box are usually downsized.
Promotions rarely happen at the sales level. Managers are brought in from outside.

Great organization but challenged by shrinking resources and product pipeline that is limited.

    Anonymous Employee (Current Employee)

ProsGood people, good working environment, good conditions. Attractive and competitive salary and benefits. People make the difference at this organization and are the reason the company has a positive reputation with its clients.

Cons'Do more with less theme' and forcing good people out of the organization further to ongoing restructuring is an ongoing challenge with this organization. Environment is challenging for current and future employees.
