    I worked at Pharmaniaga Group full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

    Good place to get work exposure, depends on who you're reporting to.
    Good benefits especially leave & medical coverage.
    Open to any new initiatives song long it ties with the Management's believe. Money/cost is not an issue.

    Cons

    Hard to change staff mindset especially if they're ex-govt staff.
    The Management is not so professional and firm in their decision making.
    Crony always get special place in anything (promotion, salary adjustment etc)

    Pros

    The learning opportunities are numerous if you have the initiative and the leadership at the top is pretty supportive. The leave and health benefit are pretty good.

    Cons

    Communication between departments is bad and some middle management is not competent. The location is pretty far from Kuala Lumpur and looking for food may be an issue.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    The leadership should look into revamping the company by weeding out the incompetent middle managers and perhaps look into a better compensation plans.
