I worked at Philam Life full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Family oriented, friendly people, dynamic, diff engagement activities, great benefits, work life balance

    Cons

No room for growth for some offices. You could be all managers in one office thus limiting your people management skills. You need to submit resignation letter before they will check if you're ok with your salary, so be proactive. Promotion is really hard to achieve unless you're really the boss pet. Favoritism and politics is rampant.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Have annual review of the personnel compensation. Check if its still at par with outside. Invest in technology more. Invest to your loyal employees instead of hiring and training new ones which will eventually left you.

    I worked at Philam Life

    Pros

The training is very rigid and the trainers are excellent that's why after the training period, i can easily manipulate the tasks that has to be done. i'm also happy with my co-workers because they are very high-spirited.

    Cons

Well i cannot say much about this because I was satisfied when I was still with my former company. it's just that insurance is a hard core selling.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Good Luck!
