Traditional turned bold and dynamic company,

    Anonymous Employee (Former Employee)

ProsFamily oriented, friendly people, dynamic, diff engagement activities, great benefits, work life balance

ConsNo room for growth for some offices. You could be all managers in one office thus limiting your people management skills. You need to submit resignation letter before they will check if you're ok with your salary, so be proactive. Promotion is really hard to achieve unless you're really the boss pet. Favoritism and politics is rampant.

Advice to Senior ManagementHave annual review of the personnel compensation. Check if its still at par with outside. Invest in technology more. Invest to your loyal employees instead of hiring and training new ones which will eventually left you.

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend – I'm optimistic about the outlook for this company

    Finance Officer (Current Employee)
    Manila, Manila (Philippines)

    Pros- Outstanding benefits for employees
    - Family-oriented
    - New office building

Cons- Information Technology not really their best suit.
    - Almost everything is old school
    - Paperwork.. paperwork.. paperwork.. too much it!

Advice to Senior Management- Philamlife to ragain market leadership should focus on leveraging and empowering the use of IT. IT should be an effective enabler to the organization! Hire younger IT employees and train existing employees on the newer things happening in IT.

    Financial Advisor (Current Employee)
    Cebu City (Philippines)

ProsYou will have your own flexible time as well as vast income potential. You can also develop your sales and marketing skills beyond your limits!

ConsThe disadvantage is you will have more time, more income, more skills as you do this business everyday. If you think, those things are cons, ahaha.. ^^,

A roller coaster experience and a bit of fun with my co-employees

    Anonymous Employee (Former Employee)

ProsThe training is very rigid and the trainers are excellent that's why after the training period, i can easily manipulate the tasks that has to be done. i'm also happy with my co-workers because they are very high-spirited.

ConsWell i cannot say much about this because I was satisfied when I was still with my former company. it's just that insurance is a hard core selling.

    Advice to Senior ManagementGood Luck!

A company that supports the growth of employees, financially and professionaly

    Financial Advisor (Current Employee)
    Cebu City (Philippines)

    ProsWork at your own time,
    be your own boss,
    more than satisfying compensation,
work environment filled with positive energy.
instant gratification as a reward for performance.

ConsCan be stressful at certain days in a quarter but thats it. Stress is a part of work. Stress is manageable though and not in high levels.

Advice to Senior ManagementUpper management should also give more attention to Cebu and make localized ads in order for us to take advantage of it as well.
