Pros
- amazing work environment;
- projects with international teams;
- challenging;
- great working conditions;
- everyone is treated fairly and has access to quality trainings;
Cons
- has the common problems that any big company has, like high bureaucracy levels;
- pretty much nothing else worth to mention.
Advice to Senior Management
I believe the only thing worth to mention is that the management team should be more active and supportive in the relations with the employees in projects or meetings.
Pros
The training you receive and the some benefits
Cons
No recognition from the managers or direction
Advice to Senior Management
None
Pros
some very pleasant people, pay , benefits, restaurant, fitness and good training opportunities
Cons
certain top management and their management members should not be allowed to interact with others, as they do not know the meaning of treating others with dignity and respect
Advice to Senior Management
when top management are aware that a new hire (for a top management position) has very appalling evaluation from his past employers, why hire him?
Pros
Pay and Benefits are above industry CPG standards. Not too many good things to say about this place, other than that.
Cons
Innovation is lacking, new ideas are attacked and criticized. Corporate culture is mature, yet old and slow. Highly profitable company, so thinking in terms of cost reduction or containment is never challenged or brought up. New ways of doing things are contained and purged, since management is comfortable with status quo.
Advice to Senior Management
Status Quo / Complacency is contagious. Management cannot keep this attitude. Good emplooyees are losing morale and confidence in the ability of management to lead.
Pros
interesting work, very bright talented people, reasonable career opportunities, benefits rival none. Overall a great place to be
Cons
certain management team members should not be allowed to interact with others, as they do not know the meaning of treating others with dignity
Advice to Senior Management
Walk the talk - if you want employees to manage in a certain way, make sure you are role modeling that behaviour
Pros
high salary for swiss locals - that was the best part about the job. also, relocation package of move from us was good.
Cons
no career advancement whatsoever. pretty much, glass ceiling. also, they care too much about what the markets think and 'feel'
Advice to Senior Management
start caring more about what your headquarters employees think not what some nitwits in the markets think and/or 'feel' etc
Pros
great benefits and satisfactory salary. young and dynamic employees. a very good place to work. I strongly reccomend to everyone.
Cons
politics is more important than anything else to get promoted. not all the manegers are capable of managing their direct reports.
Advice to Senior Management
hire more talented people.
Pros
International company with cool atmosphere and very healthy financials. Friendly atmosphere, great conditions of work, fair remuneration and benefits. No feeling of external pressure.
Cons
Promotion is based on sponsors and networks. You can do the best job of your life and no reward if not sponsored. Very political environment, not ready for changes. Top management (2 guys) are enthusiastic, many VP's and Directors understand their positions as "kingdoms to be defended". And sacrifying those who can disturb could be the right strategy. Less care for the company than for own interest looks common.
Advice to Senior Management
Liberate yourself for changes. Do not look in any idea threat for your past successes. Do not fight for your functions and positions, fight for PMI!
Pros
Good benefits, good salary comparing to others.Credibility of company's name in CV. Possibility to learn a lot, the system itself is very good a lot of staff has been reached in comparison to others. This is very positive.
Cons
Not promoting best people. Promoting and pushing only based on political friendships. Even if a promotion turns out to be a bad step - if manager or leader - there is never a plan B. It can not happen management would say - this was a terrible mistake. Even if the company has done big steps, and has done much more in its model as others, the potential is getting lost. So many things could be reached. Good people are leaving, where company invests much into juns, but does not support them/if they are not politically correct/to be seniors. So other companies get sens for free. Its a pity.
Furthermore, its a shame how some managers promote a recruitment agency, and employ people coming from that agency. Simply it can be called as Agency mafia.Very nice. Where is the giving space to best people motive in that one?
Advice to Senior Management
Well, focus on people, choose good people and stop being too political. Focus on job to be done, so that the company does not loose all its good employees. And sometimes it would be healthy to have a plan B, and not to be ashamed to say - well, this was a bad decision, lets try something better.
Pros
It's a very international company, you meet colleagues from all around the world. Good benefits and a place to develop yourself.
Cons
Very conservative. Management is not inspiring. People move positions often.
Advice to Senior Management
Have a vision.
