I have been working at Philip Morris International full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

There are many perks to work for this company - good salary, company car, insurance, good environment, Office and other. In general, your manager is your mentor and friend, but it can be exceptions. You will have unlimited carrier opprtunities - many of top-managers worked as merchandisers in the past.

    Cons

A lot of burocracy, bad work/life balance, especcially last years. Many cases of waisting Money on stupid things and cutting budgets in the same time.

    Advice to Management

Decrease numbers of staff, especially in HQ and Area Offices. Too many people do the same tasks.

I have been working at Philip Morris International full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Solid company who really takes care of its employees; good package, easy to grow if you constantly work hard and proves your 100% commitment

    Cons

Started 2-3 years ago, a lot of reorganizations happened and people is confused and company lost some of key peoples without having an explanation; for sure a lot of mistakes were done but I think is the normal way to learn; Overall, I think, the company will be strengthen in short time; similar, for all big corporations, the “network” acquaintances are often used to influence careers and weak people ends up as senior managers.

    Advice to Management

    You lost people's confidence and if you continue to experiment without a clear strategy could end badly;

I worked at Philip Morris International full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Most of the time you'll get to work with very agile coworkers and people that has an all encompassing passion, energy, and spirit to look on things while sharing that with others to feel the same. You'll be amazed at how the company will encourage you to think outside the box. You'll learn how to step out of your comfort zone and speak your mind most especially if you really believe on what you have to say.

    Cons

Bureaucracy, most especially for people that are not adaptive to change. Implementation of some rules are lenient that's why some people try to work their way around it, bend it, or use their connections and power to get what they want.

    Advice to Management

Practice more transparency and stricter rules on how to handle people poor performance and behavior.
