Advice to Senior Management
Work life balance
Pros
They're name brand possesses international recognition. Additionally, they are industry leaders in consumer products. Opportunities for business travel which is often pleasant.
Cons
The guilt of their primary product, tobacco and the harm it imparts upon their customers. Management has a tendency to take credit for successes and squarely place blame for failures on underlings
Pros

Cons
lack of entrepreneurial culture within the organizatoin
Pros
Great benefits and people. I had some of the best managers at PM.
Cons
The promotional process was very political. It was hard to get through without senior level management knowing you really well.
Advice to Senior Management
All candidates should be equally promotable especially based on performance.
Pros
Great benefit package, good people to work with if you could find your area.
Cons
Working with people who've been there for 30+ years is tough; working in the factory is even tougher.
Advice to Senior Management
Keep up the good work.
Pros
The money was good if you lived in a rural area. You did get a company car, expenses reimbursed, laptop and good sales training.
Cons
The work was tedious and often boring. Placing signage and checking if customers are doing their jobs. I had trouble keeping up with constant change. You barely ended one campaing when we started another.
Advice to Senior Management
Have your employees work together in their respective units and districts. Often, I felt were were duplicating jobs and doing things that were unneccesary.
Pros

Advice to Senior Management
Stop advancing the "yes" men or women and put in the people who ACTUALLY have MBA degrees and or are the best fit for the job and the company as a whole versus your ego or political agenda
Pros
Decent pay, company car, expense reimbursement, and annual bonus. Good sales experience and the title looks good on a resume. For the most part you are working on your own.
Cons
Unprofessional working environment, poor opportunities for advancement, manual labor involved. Too many cliques and management plays favorites.
Advice to Senior Management
Promote more fairly, give better and consistent feedback, don't play favorites.
Pros
Pay , benefits and your co-workers
Cons
Two faced managers, some managers lack integrity and will do whatever is necessary to get ahead
Advice to Senior Management
Value your people
Pros
Best benefits of any company, Management is easy to approach, Lots of vacation, 3 Weeks for Entry Level Employees, Great Plan for Advancement
Cons
Lots of things going on at one time, A Ton of Initiatives Always Being Worked On, Expectations are Extremely High
Advice to Senior Management
Continue to do what you're doing, but understand that not all priorities can be completed in all time frames provided.
