    Pros

Chance to be part of global health solutions and a company that intends to innovate to save lives. Brand is strengthening and becoming more recognizable globally. Sustainability and digital activities are priorities here.

    Cons

Leadership is often distant and out-of-touch with what is happening at our internal stakeholder levels.

    Advice to Management

Stay connected with those who report to or through you and have an open door policy to hear the good and the bad. Be the champion and advocate of your direct reports. Share organizational goals, changes, information proactively. Hear your people and their customers' opinions and stories with an open mind and with less judgement. Stop trying to just climb the ladder for self promotion and work with your teams to make them great, happy and promotable.

    Pros

Mostly 9am-5pm working hours. 401k you pay 7%, the company pays 6%. Work-life balance. Easy to talk with high-level management, e.g. site manager.

    Cons

Flat structure, you might need long time to wait for promotion. Business performance is so-so, which influenced annual bonus (happened frequently before).

    Advice to Management

More champions might be in need for leading its research unit.

    Pros

Great work environment, laid back, cross training encouraged, management easy to work with

    Cons

System is VERY outdated and no organization to the processes. Otherbthen build-to-print there isn't much in the way of work instructions

    Advice to Management

Update system so data can by kept within the network instead of on paper where it can be lost and provide actual work instructions that are easy to access

    Pros

I started at Philips when they first implemented the Associate Marketing level managers, so my class of hires set the stage for what was to come. My first job post-baby and they were incredible. I didn't worry about competing for time with my colleagues, as long as my work was done. They even renovated the mother's/nursing room. How great!

    Cons

Processes for product launches and pay need improvement. With an MBA and internship experience, I was making the same as someone with just a bachelor's degree. Unfortunately, I moved with my family so I wasn't able to stay to see what my trajectory would've been.

    Advice to Management

Set aside different pay scales for levels of experience and education.
