    Lots to Improve and Lots to Love!!

    -Support from executive management.
    -Growth Opportunities.

    -Amazing people.

    Cons-Silos within product lines, geography and certain processes.
    -Slow response time from R&D with solutions to customer concerns.
    -Manufacturing/Engineering breaks during the Summer in the Netherlands.

    Advice to Senior ManagementDrive accountability at the Engineering R&D/Q&R level to open up the process for analysis and improvement.

    ConsToo much work is placed on you with no compensation
    When processes are changed upper management gets the credit/bonuses but when it falls apart they blame it on those who are following the process.
    Upper Management knows nothing about the day-day task and acts as if we don't even exist
    Can be too clicky, if you're not with the "cool kids" consider yourself on the chopping block

    Advice to Senior ManagementPay more attention to the people at the "bottom" who bust their butts to make your numbers and bonus check fat!

    ProsManagement is fair and encourages suggestions. Coworkers look for ways to help one another to succeed. There are opportunities to learn more ways to help do your job. What I liked most is that management will support their employees in the event of customer complaints. This is a customer service job and there are occasional customer complaints, usually from the same curmudgeons. However, most of the customers call regularly and are great to work with.

    ConsBecause it is a customer service job, you are tied to the telephones and only allowed short breaks. Most training done online and expected to be taken between phone calls.

    Good learning experience but very political

    ProsThis is a big company which offers good pay and benefits.
    A lot of great people to learn from.
    When you can get training it is very good.

    ConsContractor positions never become full time even after several years of hard work and dedication.
    There is an unfair treatment between how employees and contractors are treated.
    No raises or incentives provided for contractors as well.

    Advice to Senior ManagementFor a better sense of unity and professionalism treating all employees equally would go a long way. Offer training to all employees temp and perm. Promote those that work hard and want to grow rather than holding them back.

    ProsLet you take time if when needed. Good benefits package.

    ConsYou pay it forward, then they don't compensate.

    They promote based on a "good 'ole boy" system. If you get in with the right clique, you will be promoted. However, expect your manager to resent you if you decide to move on to a better job outside his/her department.

    They put out a yearly employee feedback survey. If you answer with anything other than positive, they will try and "weed" you out, because a manager's performance review is based on his/her survey scores. Also, the manager expects his/her team to develop ways to bring up the scores, The survey is pointless.

    Advice to Senior ManagementReward your employees for the hard work they do. Promote people other than those that have become your friends. Eliminate the employee survey, it is pointless. Besides, you would save the company millions.
