Pros
PVH is a venerable company that has been in business for more than 200 years. The company really does make sure we have a very competitive wage and benefit package. Of course you need to achieve your goals in your position and contribute to the comapny's overall bottom line.
Cons
The type of position I have in the field can be very solitary as I work on my own. My hours are not traditional. Most communication is through email and or text. So you have to keep your self motivated.
Pros
pretty flexible in terms of scheduling needs. good employee discount with no restirictions. employee discount extends to sister companies like calvin klein and bass
Cons
terrible pay. no consistency. management is pretty incompitent. corproate directives do not benefit lower employees. no chance for advancement. j

Pros
Close to home. Pretty good benefits and perks. 1/2 day Fridays in the summer and casual Fridays all year. Pretty generous PTO policy.
Cons
Unfair promotions given in dept. Managers promote whomever they seem fit. No room to grow within dept. HR dept is no help at all! Most mgrs do not communicate well or care to even try.
Advice to Senior Management
Care about your employees personal growth on all levels, not just upper management. Take more seriously the feedback the employees give on our surveys. NOTHING has improved in the last 5 years!
Pros
the management at my store is awesome and i would not trade them for any thing.
discount is good
Cons
Pay sucks

disrespectful district manager
not enough hours to get projects completed
always terminating people
work you to the bones
expects to much from people
cut hours alot
if u dont pass the first test to be a manger you can never retake the test
some thing they want you to is ridicules
they create more work than u need at one time
Advice to Senior Management
it would be nice if people got more than a 27 cent raise iv been with the company for 2 1/2 years and i still don't make 8 dollars an hour.
Pros
Very good benefits and pension program
Cons
Time off is tough to get
Advice to Senior Management
Good work
Pros
PVH is a high performing company. They are well regarded in the Industry. The company is very charitable and encourages / supports employees to do the same.
Cons
Work life balance not achievable for everyone. Need to improve processes to create a more impactful work day.
Advice to Senior Management
Invest in your employees, systems and communication / team work across divisions. Not utilizing or sharing best practices throughout the company.
Pros
Great experience, benefits and recognition.
Cons
They work you to the bone, you MUST be prepared to work HARD mind and body. They do not pay well. A stepping stone to move on to a higher paying job that works you less.
Advice to Senior Management
Please rethink the 10% increase upon promotion...I suggest flat starting rates with ceilings for employees who stay in position for too long with no motivation to move up within the company.
Pros
Benefits are good and management is always evaluating how to make them better. Good company discount. Great brands. Good work is rewarded. The company is growing, which is hard to find these days.
Cons
All departments are treated differently. Some departments have no work/life balance and too much responsibility, while others are compensated the same for little accountability and much fewer hours.
Pros
The discount- 50% off clearance meant dress shirts for $7-15 bucks. You cannot beat that.
Willingness to work with my schedule.
Overall it is a fine place to work as an associate, but you could work there for five years and not quite hit a dollar raise in wage.
All of my managers seemed to really enjoy working for PVH.
Cons
The wage
Not enough hours
Like many major corporations, everything is very set in stone, meaning you are supposed to treat every customer exactly the same. In theory that's great, but not every customer wants to be checked up on every few minutes.
Advice to Senior Management
A little bit of sales training for employees could really go a long way. This company has ridiculously good deals on men's dress clothes, some sales training and marketing could lead to a huge uptick in sales (not that it really needs to improve- #1 shirt producer in the US I believe).
Also, paying more than minimum wage could make a world of difference in getting longer term associates.
Pros
Friendly people
Good way to gain experience if you can get out of different work areas
Cons
Temps do not get treated with much respect
Too hot, not enough fans
Too much leniency with full time employees
Advice to Senior Management
Treat employees with more respect
