    Pros

Everyone in all the departments are friendly and helpful. The workload is not very stressful except when dealing with dissatisfied customers on orders. Company offers flexible work schedule, so great if you have children. Managers are all really nice and don't micromanage. Employees typically got along great at work and outside of work.

    Cons

There is no structured training or mentoring programs provided by the company or management. If you are looking for management positions or much growth opportunities, this is not the place to go. It will probably be 5-10 years before you see any type of large promotion. The wages are mediocre with small raises. Company benefits were average. You get small bonuses and gifts the longer you stay with the company.

    Pros

A good place for entry-level job opportunities, easy going working environment

    Cons

small operation, no advancements, low compensation

    Advice to Management

The management needs to leave the bureaucratic stuffs at the door. It is a media business, which needs to be ran by the people who keep an open mind.

    Pros

Phoenix is very well-established. Crews on daily shows operated very smoothly and needed very little direction, allowing new additions (like me) to focus on tasks in a safe environment. Working in televised news demands performance within a daily routine, offering opportunities to tune and improve from day to day.

    Cons

Procedures felt a little bit ad-hoc; for example, VHS, Betamax, and digital formats were all in use for different stages on different shows. Tapes were recycled and shared, so you just had to know which tape to use and carefully avoid erasing someone else's show.

    Advice to Management

Clearer organization of tapes and documentation would prevent accidents (which do happen even amongst experienced crew members). For example, shot lists and notes should have dates, show information, and page numbers as a header.
