“Probably, the best place to pursue a research career in Physics & allied areas in Gujarat(India).”
Current Employee – been working at Physical Research Laboratory as a contractor for less than a year
Pros – A person can gain good exposure to scientific work & research environment with state-of-the-art labs. It depends on the kind of post a person is appointed to, but i am sure most people will agree that it is among the best places for research in the country. And i would like to mention i loved the hostel canteen - great food!
Cons – Its a government institution; so things, sometimes, might take time to proceed. But i guess its unlike the drag that is found in many other government setups.
Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend

- very well groomed Profs
Cons – - Goverment institute suffers from delay in project and material deliveries
Advice to Senior Management – - should try to upgrade to the latest technology available in market
