    Pros

PUP is like a family. It was a wonderful and rewarding place to work and employees were always challenged to be innovative. Each department had its own cliques but everybody worked well together.

    Cons

Upper Management was secretive and ended up causing the demise of the company. "Fly by the seat of our pants" mentality was universal.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Better compensation and work-life balance would have been nice.

    Pros

Fast growing company that offered opportunity if you fit in. They kept job environment tough but offered perks to keep up morale.

    Cons

If you did not agree with management on any level, you were quickly cast aside. They found any way to have you fired and were not above sabotage. A great shame. They do not adhere to their mission statement.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Might as well come clean during the hiring process that you prefer crooks working for you. Your mission statement was nothing but words with no meaning. I hope you learn from this failed venture and I hope you get what's coming to you as it is well deserved.

    Pros

The company was growing quickly enough to allow for opportunities for growth for employees with aptitude and a hunger to succeed and advance. Not a good place for employees that just wanted to phone it in and still be compensated for doing the bare minimum.

    Cons

Constant change made carrying on a successful program nearly impossible. By the time it would take to get a routine up and running, Sr. management would shuffle, or major company strategy and objectives would shift and a year's worth of planning and work would go out the window. Company had very little quality control on new hires and there was a pretty low level of ability and experience, even in mid to high level positions that required it. Obviously, going out of business was a big con as well.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Better luck next time!

    Pros

Amazing staff. Everyone who worked here was happy and collaborated. There was little to no red tape, and everyone shared knowledge and responsibilities. One of the best places I ever worked

    Cons

Failures of executive staff led to the downfall of the company. Company is now being liquidated by the state of Florida.

    Pros

Great work environment. Fun events, free drinks, room for advancment (if you are liked)

    Cons

Managment will not allow you to advance if they dont like you. If you go against the grain you will get fired, and if you speak up about somthing that i'snt right or defend yourself in an unfair situation you will never win. They do not stick to there gpolicy guidelines. Managment cover up a lot of unfair situations. Managment do not listen to the employees until somthing bad happens and then try to point the finger at the employees as if they were never aware.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Treat everyone fairly. Give those that have the skill and training better opportunities instead of the ones that just kiss but.

    Pros

Pup was a fast-growing and challenging place to work. As with many high-growth companies turnover was fairly high, but the rewards for those that made it were great.
It is shame that pup ended the way that it did. Many good people were hurt.

    Cons

    The company is no more

    Short and unpleasant...

    Pros

For someone with vast experience in his/her area of expertise, it was fertile ground for bringing one's talents, experience and expertise to bear.

    Cons

Unfortunately management was not interested in any of that. Working for PUP was a popularity contest and if you didn't work hard to 'win' that contest your were OUT. What a way to run a company.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

None. They already know everything....except how to stay in business.

    Pros

Coworkers who were mature in the company

    Cons

Individuals who felt entitled, unlimited spending, no budget

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Someone has to be accountable for this starting with management

    Pros

Was a good product that had great client benefits

    Cons

Company was extremely disorganized and what and when we anticipated being paid for our AEP insurance sales was changed at the last minute. We only received 5 months of a years worth of commission and then the company was forced into liquidation by a judge in Orlando

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

create better products that can stay on the market, organize, and don't overspend!
