A company run by ignorance, fear and controlling.

ProsNone. There were no pros when working at this company. I think every single one of us wished we hadn't!

ConsBad communication. Lack of originality. Too many meetings. They don't know how to manage a team. They put the wrong people in charge. The do not value their employees, unless they are personal friends. They do not pay on time. They bully their employees. They use tactics to get you to leave so they don't have to pay unemployment benefits. They abuse the fact that it's a right to work state and let people go with no warning or notice on the same day, whether an employee has been there a month or many years.

Advice to Senior ManagementStay out of the game industry and do something where nobody has to suffer your dictatorship. I've never worked for anyone else who turns their business into a dysfunctional family.

I worked at Pi Studios

ProsLaid back environment
Good pay
Good area to work and live

ConsNo original ip and didn't put to much of an effort to do one
Very disorganized
Immature management and employers (get that at any place but they cut the mustard)
Company CEO has a super foul mouth

Advice to Senior ManagementManagement needs to do more research in running a game studio and then maybe try again in the future. Place had great a opportunity but seriously dropped the ball.

ProsFun atmosphere
Great benefits and perks: medical, dental, and vision, along with many perks like holiday parties, professional sporting events and concerts.
Good working hours
Good projects

ConsDid not get paid sometimes

Advice to Senior ManagementProject management was good, but business side of management needs to handle money a bit better and may have avoided not paying people. Maybe cut back on perks.
