    Pros

The people are very friendly and nice to work with. Ownership really cares, and they show this by small things that not many other companies do, such as birthday card and $25 certificate to make purchase from "company store", free Thanksgiving turkey for all employees, beautiful Christmas party with awesome door prizes (and you can even bring a guest). Many people have been here a long time, and have worked up the ladder to leadership positions.

    Cons

As an entry-level employee the pay is not great.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Keep up the good work.

    Pros

Ability to use self-starter/above and beyond qualities available. Friendly network across all locations facilitate the teamwork necessary for high priority moves. Close customer & colleges relationships formed.

    Cons

Not enough macro management, meetings, goals, feedback, etc. Lack of micro management in specific task areas can create problems for internal customers that in turn create problems for external customers.

    Pros

The percentage of job change/responsibilities are greater due to the smaller size of the company. Employees are able to increase competencies in various areas of transportation.

    Cons

Pilot locations are franchises and therefore the culture and processes varies based on location. Due to the small size of the company, the potential for movement into management positions are extremely limited and salaries are stagnate.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Investment in good employees equates to higher loyalty levels and the longevity of the employee/employer partnerships. This would decrease turnover due to employees excepting positions from competitors.

    Pros

Benefits is about the only good thing about working here

    Cons

Totally unorganized, no cross training, no one to fill in when on vacation or out for a sick day, total disregard for dedicated employees. Look out if you take a week of vacation - you're not allowed to take a Friday and Monday, unless you're one of the privileged employees who know how to work the management. Too many employees are "friends" with management and get special privileges.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Hopefully the new management will correct the issues created by the last decade of poor management.

    Pros

Nice facilities. They give you a paycheck on time.

    Cons

No hope for advancement in the company unless you have a great body and wear sexy clothes.
The management and sales team seem to not put in a fulls days work and do personal activities like go to the gym and shop while on company time.
Management acts like they are part of some good old boys club and act like they do sneaky stuff on company time.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Stop flaunting around and actually work - your employees will respect you more.

    Pros

Benefits are pretty good, most people are friendly, environment is nice to work in, and it is close to my home. Thanks to cross training, I am able to help other depts. under my big bosses rule when my dept. is slow.

    Cons

During the summer my dept. gets slow and I rather be extremely busy.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

At my company, the higher ups are not good at making all their employees follow the same rules. Their is allot of favoritism that goes on.
