Current Employee – been working at Pinnacle Foods full-time for less than a year
Pros – In my team/department, exceptional performance is noticed and rewarded. I love the people that I work with--individuals who are professional but also know how to have fun. I'm provided with the tools and information that I need to perform my job function very well. I'm encouraged to attend trainings to gain new knowledge and skills useful for my job. At the company level, the environment is open, managers and executive officers are approachable and is open to suggestions/changes. The Cherry Hill and Parsippany offices are beautiful--lots of natural light, very spacious; new cafeteria. I give work/life balance a 5-star rating (I'm very satisfied).
Cons – The business has some improvement areas but the the executive team seems to be very enthusiastic about new opportunities and is committed to growing the company.
Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend – I'm optimistic about the outlook for this company

Current Employee – been working at Pinnacle Foods
Pros – Fast paced environment
Cool cafeteria
Cool Office spaces
Cons – They load you up with work while managers/friends of managers sit at their desk all day

Salary is NOT competitive; even with experience and education
Opinions change everyday, making it hard to maintain scope on projects
Unprofessional behavior from HR; nothing remains confidential

Former Employee – worked at Pinnacle Foods full-time
Pros – The people here are really good and its one of the tightest knit places I've ever worked. The new offices are amazing and a model of what every office should be.
Cons – Not all is what it seems, especially all the fake and glowing reviews on this site. Almost no one is happy here except those in charge. Every department is lean to the point of being tremendously overworked. Every 1 person does the job of 3 with no motivation to do any better. High turnover means you're constantly teaching new people their job.
Advice to Senior Management – Start investing in the people. There's a reason all the good people leave the second an opportunity arises.

Current Employee – been working at Pinnacle Foods full-time for more than 10 years
Pros – good pay, some good people
Cons – management has bad listening skills
Advice to Senior Management – learn to communicate better with one another. we need to work more as a team and not try and place blame on other people, the only ones you have to blame are youselfs. (A SUSECCESFUL COMPANY TREATS THERE EMPLOYEES WELL)

Current Employee – been working at Pinnacle Foods full-time for more than a year
Pros – I see the result of my work and have great access to upper management
Performance is largely rewarded with opportunity
Fast-paced environment with a team that clearly benefits individuals with a bias for action
The people in my function are a close knit group who very much enjoy being around one-another
Cons – Small company resources with big company aspirations can lead to some long nights (not unlike most CPG companies)
Not a teaching institution. You learn as you go (this is good and bad, depending on the type of person you are)
Advice to Senior Management – Organizational structure could use some work, we need as many doers as possible.

Current Employee – been working at Pinnacle Foods full-time for more than a year
Pros – I've been employed by the company for about 2 years. This is a fast paced, lean, exciting and fun environment to work in. The commitment to ongoing growth through a balanced approach to innovation, renovation and margin enhancement is right on target. Employees are treated as real people with a culture that values an individual and enables people to grow. The new R&D center is state of the art and provides what we need to grow our business. Our people are passionate about food and bring tremendous energy in an open and inviting way.
Cons – We are a very lean organization by design, but It enables us to move fast where other companies get bogged down in processes and policies.

Current Employee – been working at Pinnacle Foods full-time for more than 3 years
Pros – Dynamic, engaged and people-oriented CEO and CFO.
Executive and senior leadership are bright, passionate and committed to growing the business, improving the culture and developing and nurturing talent.
The balance of outside talent and internally developed talent is improving which has contributed to improvements in culture and work dynamics.
Beautiful offices!
Cons – The only con that comes to mind is the fact there are two corporate offices in Northern and Southern NJ, which somewhat hinders the ability to build relationships and stay connected.
Advice to Senior Management – Maintain the level of passion to improve the business and company culture; keep doing what you're doing, because it is working!

The Executive Leadership Team is committed to improving our products and growing the business while keeping the feel of a small company. I work hard but my managers notice and thank me for my dedication, wow! It is so nice to walk through the halls and see happy people. Glad I am part of the team.
