ConsPromotions are very slow and no raises.

Advice to Senior Managementprovide more clarity on other roles or ways to grow even if it is not in your own position.

The company promises growth from within but you don't actually have too much career related growth opportunity.

Anonymous Employee (Current Employee) Boston, MA

ProsIf you want to do sales, you can get to the sales department quickly 1-2 years

ConsLower level management doesn't really provide incentives for quality work and very little communication from department to department

Advice to Senior ManagementMore communication within company departments

ProsSalary was fair. Very good fixed income lineup. Excellent place to work friendly, team atmosphere. Everyone there wants to see you succeed.

ConsIt is very tough to advance from the inside sales position to other places at the company. Favorites are played, but you will get that anywhere

Advice to Senior ManagementI would say overall a great job. Pioneer was a place that I really enjoyed working keep up the good work.

    Nice place to work

Anonymous Employee (Current Employee) Boston, MA

    ProsThe benefits and the people.

ConsRough couple of years in financial services sector

Advice to Senior ManagementDespite market conditions, performers should be recognized and rewarded - if not with money then with perks such 'free' time.
