I worked at Piraeus Bank S.A. as an intern (less than an year)

    Pros

They offer decent pay, and they rarely ask for working after hours. Their middle managers are nice to work with, and the atmosphere is ok.

    Cons

Their upper management is highly biased, and lots of people are employed using connections of the higher ups. Delegation of work rarely happens, so the work itself isn't challenging or developing, just burdening.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

More transparency in daily work, obligations, bonuses, and more stimulation on the job.

    Negative Outlook

I worked at Piraeus Bank S.A. full-time (less than an year)

    Pros

Large systemic bank offers a wide area of opportunities, reasonable compensation, modern profile, good HR management, average social/professional life balance

    Cons

Recent multiple mergers have had an impact on everything; a lot unavoidable inward looking and empire buildings in a new environment.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Productivity could improve if simple management practices were followed by senior/middle managers; a lot of waisted time in meetings without specific agendas, requirements, outputs.
More focus on results in a new market.
