    Local employees are resentful and disenfranchised

    Worked In the Piazza (Former Employee)
    Rome, GA

    Pros* International experience - Maybe get to travel a bit.
    * World-class manufacturing environment at the Rome, GA plant.
    * Clean, safe, professional environment.

    Cons* Under-handed and cut-throat management team. No trust anywhere to be found.
    * Firm ceiling for US employees; little opportunity unless you are entry level.
    * Expats are very 'clicky'; don't expect to ever be accepted. This would be ok if they did not hold all the power.

    Advice to Senior ManagementStudy global companies like GE and how they manage true diversity. Your 'Italians only' club is the source of your dissatisfaction. Also, stop blaming Rome, GA culture. Your worker issue was even worse when you were in Connecticut.
