    Anonymous Employee (Former Employee)

ProsName recognition, been around for a long time, market leader, huge territories if people are willing to work.

ConsThere's always a push to sell transactional business (postage meters) and complex solutions. They have reorganized their US Mailing operation multiple times over the last 2-3 years and nothing seems to stick.

Advice to Senior ManagementLower quotas. You keep building comp plans that are so unrecognizable that only the people that have loaded territories (if you really look at this and compare vs. those that don't have loaded territories, you will see this) can succeed. When 30% of your sales force or hitting target and you are the market leader, it's pretty obvious what is going on.

    Industry leader antiquated technology

    Account Executive (Former Employee)

ProsGood training, people are top notch, mostly hard working. Management is there to help. Good resources to tap into .

ConsCompensation is low for similar related positions in other companies, technology is weak and not very competitive. Many technological products don't work. Core products have not been updated.

Advice to Senior Managementneed to get in line with recent technology and upgrade offerings to customers. More customers will leave unless they have products that can help their businesses grow.

Great Company with many opportunities to advance or branch out.

    Sales Executive (Former Employee)

ProsBeing in sales one can obtain all the experience needed to be a professional sales person. You will learn the process and the sale model, pushed to your limits, and your integrity tested. You have the ability to sell equipment, services, integration, and software.

ConsVery top heavy with bureaucracy. Everyone fearful of being downsized. No loyalty to employees (unless in upper management) sole focus on shareholder, declining industry with management struggling for new identity, work, work, work at expense of family time to meet demands. compensation plan changed 4 times in less than a year

Advice to Senior Managementtrust, value, and appreciate your employees

not worth working for if you value yourself.....

    Driver (Former Employee) Corona, CA

Prospros are very few: somewhat on your own when driving a route; fellow employees can recognize you for your abilities and award you

Conscons are plenty: management is poorly operated, the company is too worried that the employee will work over 8 hours in a shift, employees that do above average work are not recognized while those who perform substandard are welcomed, etc., etc.

Advice to Senior Managementfocus on the positive aspects of an employee, and less on the so called negative things she/he has done (doing so would be very different from most companies !! ), do not keep on staff those who have major accidents, who threaten managers and fellow employees, those who continually screw up due to lack of understanding basic language, keep your personal life out of the workplace
