Pros
They have a great discount for employees, and the tips are usually nice.
Cons
As a delivery driver you get minimum wage no matter what.
Advice to Senior Management
I would suggest giving more respect to those that actually work and try hard while working.
Pros
Good hardworking people trying to better themselves.
Cons
Management does not grow its employess? Little to no recognition for effort. A general indifference to their staff. Incompetence among senior staffers.
Advice to Senior Management
Treat your employess as assets not liabilities. Mst folks are trying to better themselves. Don't assume that everyone working for you has no ambition or concern for the future of the company.
Pros
20% off sales for employees
Cons
no telling when your off if your a driver
Advice to Senior Management
none
Pros
Pizza hut is excellent with flexible scheduling, and the tips are about the same as your hourly wage. Easy job.
Cons
If you don't enjoy working with customers then this is not a good job for you, need an exacting attention to details.
Advice to Senior Management
encourage employees for their hard work and reward them for going above where they are expected to. Continue working with scheduling.
Pros
the non management employees are great.
Tips are good for delivery drivers
Cons
management is incompetent, poor scheduling, unfair treatment of employees, management only cares about management, if you sick you need to find someone to cover your shift you cant just call in, some abusive customers, lack of communication from management to other employees, lazy management
Advice to Senior Management
treat the employees better than what you do, they are the ones making you the money.
Pros
Free Uniforms, Discount, Customer Focus
Cons
Hours, It seemed that unless you were the managers favorite, you would be given as little hours as possible. They would give us 12 hours to start and they kept hiring till my hours went down to 4 hours and they were STILL hiring.
Advice to Senior Management
Require Restaurant Managers to give hours equally, no favoritism in the workplace.
Pros
You can get paid a decent amount for the work that you actually do. The hours are also very flexible.
Cons
No compensated for the whole delivery charge. The wear and tear on your car can be great. Treated with a lack of respect often.
Advice to Senior Management
Have more incentives for people to perform their jobs better. Treat your employees like the adults that they are. If there is a problem handle it in a professional manner.
Pros
Fun People
Nice Manager
Decent schedule most of the time
Good food
Cons
Sometimes scheduling was a problem
Advice to Senior Management
Offer more advancement opportunities for good workers
Pros
Ther are many good reasons to work at Pizza Hut. The best benefit is you get free of charge on all the pizza you can eat!
Cons
The only downside I can think of working at Pizza Hut is working evenings and weekends. Other than that it's a great place to work.
Advice to Senior Management
The best advice I could agive to the leadership is to give cash bonuses, lots of them as incentive for the drivers to break records on delivering Pizzas.
Pros
-You get to clock in and out and get a base pay
- leading a shift isn't difficult at pizza hut if you have waitstaff experience
-There is a posted schedule each week, you'll always know when you work
-it's easy to become friends with the people you work with, they're all generally young
-the hardest part of your job will most likely be answering phone calls from angry customers who wanted pepperoni instead of canadian bacon
Cons
-as a shift leader, you do not make tips
-if the store manager is out of reach and you are the only one left at the store and a problem arises, you're generally held accountable- screwed.
-not much room for advancement until you reach the age where you are able to become store manager
Advice to Senior Management
- Management should spend more one on one time with shift leaders and waitstaff to resolve customer problems. Oftentimes a customer has an issue with their order, and the server/waitstaff doesn't know what to do on their own.
