Pros
Excellent benefits for family and good bonus opportunities
Cons
Hard balance between work and family life
Pros
they work with your schedule and easy to move to management
Cons
have to work until midnight some nights and usually very understaffed making it hard to like the job.
Advice to Senior Management
hire more people.
Pros
The hours are very flexible. Pizza Hut has a very friendly, mostly positive atmosphere. Store management is very easy going, yet still accomplishes things.
Cons
Pay increases are hard to come by, no matter how hard you work. It seems that some of the district management is unprofessional. The work is sometimes not worth the pay.
Advice to Senior Management
Tell the district managers to be a bit more professional and not to have in-store meetings with store managers during the busiest time of the week (5:30 on a friday afternoon, which is prime pizza ordering time).
Pros
discount of your pizza product
Cons
no support for management on duty
Advice to Senior Management
talk to management more often
Pros
the number of customers coming by brand name is more
Cons
salary, employee satisfaction, discount, ambience, work pressure
Pros
Not as stressful as other "fast" food places
When driving, you get to make decisions for yourself.
Usually, as a driver, you get to leave early
Cons
customers can be quite abusive to drivers
Some nights / days the tips are very low
wear and tear on your own vehicle
Advice to Senior Management
offer more money to the drivers per delivery, after all they are the ones that make you all the money.
Or at least give them more of an incentive to take care of the customer.
Pros
No dress code....very low energy needed (sit down continuously) .......simple work......eat (not pizza) while you work............. 20% discounts on your own pizza orders or $1 personal pan pizzas (Great deal)
Cons
Very negative environment. Customers were angry, Managers were angry, other employee were angry....The managers don't want to "teach" you how to do anything, seems like they are all scared to lose their position as manager if you know too much. I expected to deal with angry customers, but negative co-workers and managers was just too much.
I once heard a manager say to another employee, "Stop laughing and get back to phone call"....buy, what I heard is, "Stop being happy and get more money"
Advice to Senior Management
Make it a more positive environment somehow. No one seemed happy, at all...I expected to deal with angry customers, but negative co-workers and managers was just too much.
Pros
good pay and good team to work
Cons
work is fast. slow is down
Advice to Senior Management
Pay more. Give more benefits. I want more cash.
Pros
It a good place to work while in college
Cons
As a delivery drive if really hard to pay for gas when people are not tiping.
Pros
time off when needed was fairly easy to get- provided you where not one of those that asked for every weekend off. Extra hours where sometimes available. Pay is minimum but employee meal was free. I really enjoyed the job and the customers. Delicious food!
Cons
Other managers had their "favorites" and allowed the employees to do as they wished. No consistency. No communication. No follow up. Very slow to give raises or advancements.
Advice to Senior Management
Make sure you are following company policy! Managers should not gossip or "hang socially" with employees. Try holding a managers meeting every few months.
